The creature had approached Annabelle with fire in its heat from its eyes became too much for the bewildered legs gave way and her body began to drop, her torso scratched against the rough concrete and her head hit the floor firmly. Annabelle lay unconsious the creature disappeared into thin air, gone without a trace. Out of nowhere Annabelle's neighbour Edward strolled by. Annabelle had always thought that there was something weird about him and his family the Cullens, the way his face was always pale and he would be by himself or with family. But that was the way some people were, maybe he likes keeping to himself. Edward saw Anna on the floor, she lay motionless if not dead. He kneeled down next to her felt her pulse and lifted her up. He darted to her door in an instant and lay her down on the floor again, he rang the doorbell and darted down the sidewalk. Anna's mother opened the door and shrieked at the sight of her daughter on the floor. She sprinted to the phone and dialled 911. In minutes the ambulance arrived, they put Anna in a stretcher and headed for the hospital. After many tests the doctor could not explain what had happened so Anna was left to rest at the hospital overnight so in the morning they would carry out more tests.
At 5:30AM Anna woke up.
