Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong were in their tree house. They noticed that the jungle around him had changed. They decided not to look through this new area. The area looked to be a pretty plain area. Nothing to notable about this grassland. The monkeys were top afraid to go look. Eventually Donkey Kong got hungry. So, he went to where he kept their bananas. He ate a few and then noticed some banana peels that he didn't create. The peels made a trail. He followed the trail to the other side of the pile. He saw a turtle. A small one. He was just eating bananas. Soon the turtle saw him and waved politely.

"What are you doing with my bananas" Donkey Kong yelled.

"I-I was just hungry" the turtle said.

"Well, then find other food. Not steal from me" Donkey Kong said.

"B-but" The turtle spit out.

"No buts" Donkey Kong said.

Donkey Kong and Squirtle fight

Diddy Kong had heard Donkey Kong's yell. He came down and saw Donkey Kong beating up on the little turtle. Diddy decided to stop the fight from evolving. "Calm down" Diddy Kong said.

"But he is eating our bananas" Donkey Kong said.

"So. He is hungry, let him. What if one of your friends were hungry, Luigi, Mario, what would you do" Diddy Kong crossed his hands. Donkey Kong stayed quiet. He thought about it. Donkey Kong went up to the turtle and hugged him. He apologized. Donkey Kong offered a banana and a chance to stay in their tree house. All three of them went back in the main house. They did proper introductions. They just sat there for hours. All of a sudden there was a panicked knock at the door. Diddy went to open it. Daisy ran running in.

"Daisy" Diddy Kong said surprised.

"You guys, I need your help" Daisy said sitting next to Squirtle.

"With" Donkey Kong asked.

"Luigi, something's wrong" Daisy said.

"Don't you guys go on parties often" Squirtle asked.

"Yea, Luigi was always my favorite out of your gang. No offense" Diddy Kong told Daisy.

"None taken but can you all help me find him" Daisy asked them. They looked at each other and agreed. All of them left and explored. They were going to find Luigi no matter what. They eventually got to a place that seemed to be deserted. Grant it most places here were deserted, but this one looked like it was deserted before the merge. They have been walking for hours so they decided to take a break inside the castle on the land. The prince of the castle was doing a look around his castle. He wanted to see if his people were here. He had checked the day before, but he decided to look again for good measures. While walking through the halls he heard casual chatter. He didn't recognize the voices. He knew everyone from his kingdom. He prepared his sword. He hid around the corner and peeked into the main foyer. He saw two monkeys, one turtle, and a princess. "Intruders" he said in his head. He went into the main room still wielding his sword.

"What do you intruders want" he asked.

"We just needed some place to rest our feet" Daisy said. Daisy started to step forward to the prince. He took it as a threat and hit Daisy with the handle of his sword.

"I don't want to kill you, but I will if I must" he said. Daisy fell back in pain. The point of impact was on her head. She started to bleed from the area, it wasn't much thought. Just a single stream.

"You hurt my friend, no I hurt you" Donkey Kong said.

The prince fell in defeat. He looked at his sword and threw it on the ground. He was disappointed that he lost to a monkey. The prince started to reflect on his past battles. Daisy noticed the look in his eyes. Daisy walked up to him and put her hand on his shoulder. The prince looked up. He saw terror, and fear in Daisy. "Ma'am are you alright" he asked.

"Someone special to me is in trouble, we were walking around for hours. We needed to rest, if you want us to leave we can" Daisy said. The prince looked at the other people and noticed they were rubbing their feet.

"I see, I apologize for attacking" he said. "You may stay as long as you need". The prince stood up. He left for the kitchen to find food for them. He came back. "I'm sure you are all hungry" he gave them the bread. The prince formally introduced himself, as did the others. They also explained what they were doing in more detail.

Elsewhere

Lucas woke up, all alone. He looked around and saw he was in New Pork. He started to walk around. He soon heard voices. The voices came from inside a building. He put his ear to the door to listen. "Ok Luigi, you have your job. ROB will follow your orders. Don't mess up" a ghastly voice said.

"Yes Tabuu" Luigi said. Lucas didn't realize how close they were to the door. It swung open. Luigi stood there with ROB. Luigi grabbed Lucas by the neck then dragged him towards Tabuu. "Sir, he was eavesdropping". Tabuu looked at the kid, slowly choking.

"Drop him" Tabuu said. Luigi nodded and did as he was told. Luigi then left with ROB. Lucas was on the ground trying to regain his breath. He suddenly started to float up. "So, you like eavesdropping".

"N-no, s-sorry" Lucas stuttered.

"Fine, I'll let you go" Tabuu said smiling an evil grin.

Luigi led the deactivated ROB to their destination. He was now in the deserted castle area. Luigi turned ROB on and gave him his task.

"Kill Marth, and anyone who tries to stop you" Luigi said.

"Yes, sir" ROB robotically said. ROB droves to the castle. He busted the door down. Marth look at the robot. He learned not to immediately attack. He was about to greet the robot until is started to charge up its gyro. Marth looked back and saw them shaking their heads, meaning they aren't friends. Marth started to unsheathe his sword. The gyro finished charging and launched into Marth's chest. Blood started spurting everywhere. He screamed in pain. Donkey Kong ran towards the robot and threw a punch at the robot. Daisy ran over to Marth and tried to stop the gyro from spinning and simultaneously cutting Marth. She only ended up cutting herself. Squirtle ran up and started to shoot water at the gyro. It slowed down but not entirely. Diddy Kong threw a banana at it which stopped it fully. ROB stood back up.

"Orders were to kill Marth, and anyone who tries to stop me. Time to die monkey" ROB said.

ROB started to deactivate. Eventually is self-destructed. Donkey Kong went to Marth. He was barely holding on. He couldn't speak. Diddy Kong and Squirtle looked at each other concerned. "We'll find Dr. Mario" Diddy Kong said.

"Good luck" Daisy said. She and Donkey Kong decided on staying with the dying Marth. Diddy Kong and Squirtle walked in a direction believe was a town or city. They made no progress for 24 hours. It was the next day and they still haven't found Dr. Mario. Marth was also fully unconscious. What they didn't know was that ROB wasn't the only thing sent to them. That morning someone else was sent. Not to kill, but to wound. The person who sent him, was different than Luigi. He had control over his actions, but at the same time may lose control. This person was sent when the sender was unable to control himself. This person who was sent infiltrated the castle while the others were asleep. He could've shot his target while they were asleep. But his boss had said he want to see the terror on the other's face. He brought up his gun and found them again. Donkey Kong and Daisy were still tending to Marth's wounds. Donkey Kong soon saw this person. He was wearing a strange mask. Donkey Kong saw the gun in his hands. The infiltrator noticed that he has been spotted. He stepped out.

"My, my, my, what happened here. This poor man is dying" he laughed.

"What do you want" Daisy yelled.

"I'm just here to play a joke" he said with a smile.

"A joke" Donkey Kong asked.

"Name's joker, and I will be your worst nightmare" Joker said. He shot at Donkey Kong who just barely dodged it.

Joker was punched into the wall but stood up. "You're very strong, but strength can only take you so far" Joker smiled. He shot Donkey Kong in the arm. He fell back in pain. Daisy ran towards Joker, but he just waved bye and teleported away. Daisy kneeled back down in between her two wounded friends. She started to cry cold tears.

Joker stood in front of Tabuu. "Mr. Tabuu, where is my boss" Joker asked.

"He is in control right now, but you may stay here" Tabuu said.

"Thank you sir" Joker bowed. Another day passed. Diddy Kong and Squirtle made it to a town. They decided to sit down.

"It's useless, we'll never find Dr. Mario" Squirtle slouched.

"I'm here" Dr. Mario said from behind them.

"We finally found you" Diddy Kong said.

"Oh, I've seen you since yesterday. I just wanted to see how far you would go" Dr. Mario laughed.

"Are you serious" Diddy Kong yelled. Dr. Mario noticed the anger in his voice.

"What's up anyway" Dr. Mario asked.

"Our friend was stabbed by some gyro" Squirtle said.

"Lead me to him" Dr. Mario said. Diddy Kong and Squirtle did as he asked. It took less time to walk back to the castle since they knew where it was at this point. While finding the town they had passed the castle about 3 times. When they arrived Dr. Mario saw the damaged Marth and newly damaged Donkey Kong. Diddy Kong ran over to his friend's side. It took yet another day, but Dr. Mario was able heal them both. Marth and Donkey Kong were up and running again. Dr. Mario said they must be going back to his clinic for a patient. They others decided to follow. Daisy was the only one who refused. She went on her own journey to find Luigi.
