Angela came over and worked on me all day. Well from 12 to the time Emmett got here. Angela put me in a tube top and shirt jean shorts. She was going for the summer cowgirl look. She had brought over her pair of cowgirl boots for me to wear and tons of makeup.

"Ang, I think you've done enough work." I said with a laugh. She was going to the extreme to straighten, than curl my hair. The clock teased me by telling me I still had 45 minutes before Emmett would be here. I was a combination of nervous, anxious and over all full of pure bliss.

"You can never look too overdone." Angela said.

"I think you can, next thing you know I'll be Dolly Parton with the whole cow girl look and too much makeup." I said as I surfed the internet on my blackberry.

"True, but you don't have the boob job." Angela joked and fixed a curl and declared me perfect. I did look good if I didn't sound too selfish. Angela handed me small dangle earrings and a necklace to go with the outfit and said that I was discharged from makeover central. She handed me a tote bag that I filled with personal items and went to brush my teeth. In the middle of brushing my teeth the doorbell rang and it was Emmett.

Angela rushed down the stairs and greeted him and said hello and told him I'd be a minute. I spit and rinsed and gave myself another quick check in the mirror. I was set as I finished applying one last coat of lip gloss. I grabbed my bag from my room and jogged down the stairs. Emmett beamed at me as I brushed a strand of hair from my face.

"You look amazing." Emmett smiled and I blushed… damn blush.

"Props to me." Angela snickered and I looked to her.

"Weren't you just leaving?" I asked.

"Oh right, yeah, have fun love birds." Angela said grabbing her bag and walked around Emmett and left.

"You ready to go?" Emmett asked with a smile.

"Yes." I smiled. "Just let me tell Charlie I'm leaving." I said and walked into the living room. "Dad, I'm going out."

"With who?"

"A friend." I pondered.

"Who?"

"Emmett Cullen, I'll be home by 11."

"Fine." He grumbled and I walked back to Emmett and we left to go to his jeep and he drove to the restaurant. He took me to a small restaurant that was quiet and private, it was nice.

The waitress came and checked Emmett out but he ignored her. "Can I get you a drink?" She asked.

"Coke." I said and Emmett ordered one too.

She left to get them and Emmett smiled to me as I crossed my legs. "So how have you been?" I asked.

"Not too bad, but I've been better." Emmett said. "Just missed you."

I smiled and blushed. "I missed you too Emmett."

"You're just saying that."

"No I really have, I've missed all of you." I said and he smiled.

"So what are you doing about the future?" He asked.

"I just majored in design and I decorate people's homes." I said.

"That's what Esme does!" Emmett smiled. I nodded.

"Anyway, what are you doing with your life, going back to high school anytime soon?" I asked.

"No." Emmett scoffed, "Who needs the tests and stress."

I smiled. "If only life was that simple."

"It is when you live forever, no stress about money, no nothing."

I nodded with a smirk. I took a sip of the freshly delivered coke and then pushed it away as I swallowed.

We walked to the movie because the theatre was only a block away after Emmett had paid for dinner.

"So Kim isn't a big fan of me huh?"

The statement took me off guard. "Uh, yeah, none of my friends except Angela and Emily really are."

"Well, I think to make this smooth for you, we need to make amends."

"Good luck with that." I muttered.

"Well, what do they like to do the most?" Emmett asked as he held the door open for me.

"They love to eat." I laughed.

"So food will have to be involved." Emmett pondered. "What else?"

"They love to party too."

"It's settled then, we host a party for your friends at La Push, I will find a caterer and you could decorate since you're the expert." He smiled.

"You don't need to do this." I said.

"Of course I do, I love you and I want us to go somewhere and this is only the first step." Emmett said as he paid for our tickets.

I smiled. "You're amazing."

"All for you Doll." He smiled. Doll, I had never been called Doll before. I liked it.

We sat down just in time to watch the movie and it was perfect, he was perfect. Emmett was mine.

Emmett called this morning while I was in the shower to tell me he had found a caterer for the party and that we should go out to the store to see what we would need to decorate, when I called him back he said he would pick me up to go into Port Angeles to get supplies.

I finished my hair and I heard a car pull up. I looked out the window and it was Emmett. I smiled and walked down stairs as I grabbed my big black bag. Charlie was at work so I didn't have to worry about telling him anything.

Emmett knocked only once and I opened it immediately. "Hello." I smiled and he gave me a hug hello.

"You ready to go?" He smiled.

I nodded and he walked back out to the jeep as I locked up the house and stuck a note on the door for Charlie. I walked over to Emmett and the jeep and he had opened the door for me and helped me up into the high jeep. He shut the door and then got into the driver's side. We had some conversation in the car until we got to the first stop at a huge surplus Party Network; it was the newest supply store.

"So what is the overall dress code?" Emmett asked.

"Semi-formal, no jeans." I said almost automatically. He nodded in agreement. "I'm thinking almost a nightclub theme but on a café level."

"Sounds cozy." He smiled.

"I know it sounds bad right?"

"No, no it doesn't, I was kidding, and it sounds amazing." He smiled and wrapped his hand around mine. His hand was so much bigger than mine.

"What about paper lanterns and like Christmas tree lights in the trees."

I smiled. "I like it." I said and we walked down the lighting section.

"If its nice out we could put those lily pad floaty candles in the pool." I said.

"How romantic." Emmett said a little more feminine than masculine. He replayed what he just said in his head and then apologized for it. I laughed and grabbed a pack of them. Emmett grabbed the lights and then he got infusers also to relive the stench of vampire and wolf.

By the time we were finished, Emmett had made a day of it and took me out to a late lunch at the nearest Panera Bread. "Well Doll, I think we did pretty well." He said as he watched me eat my lunch.

"I agree we did well." I smiled.

"Bella, can I ask you what seems like a childish question?" He asked.

"Of course, ask me anything you want." I said.

"Do you like me?"

I wasn't too surprised by the question, "Yes, I do like you Emmett, you've been very good to me an I can say that I do like you a lot."

"But ou don't love me." Emmett said.

"I can't say I'm in love with you yet, this is only the second date, but I can safely say I do love you." I smiled.

He smiled. "Well, I love you too." I finished the last bites of my sand which and we walked back to the jeep that was in front of the Party Network. Emmett helped me in again and then got in the driver's side.

Emmett and I planned to start decorating tomorrow and that he would have at least 10-12 invitations ready so I could deliver them. Emmett dropped me off and told me he loved me once more and then drove away as I walked into the house. The note I left Charlie was off the door and his cruiser was in the driveway.

"Hi Dad." I called.

"Hey pumpkin, what's cooking?" He asked as I walked into the living room to find Billy there. They were watching the Mariners game.

"Nothing, did you eat?" I asked.

"Yeah, you said you were out with Emmett so I figured you would eat out, Billy brought over Harry Clearwater's fish fry, there's a piece left if you haven't eaten." Charlie said then cheered once the Mariners got a run.

"Yeah Dad I ate." I said and walked upstairs and soon fell asleep listening the birds chirp outside my window in the tree and dreamt about Emmett and I.
