I can examine the past two centuries and explain – to the finest detail – where history was made, who made it and what their children's names were. Maybe that is why it has fallen upon me to share this story. I cannot take an oath that this will not be biased or unfair because, at times, it will be. Belonging to too many peoples greatest shock – I am only human and I suffer from human emotion. Which is something that one will never take for granted – after all, my dear friend Gatsby never did again.

Do not interoperate me incorrectly; Helen Magnus is an intelligent and wise woman. One of the wisest I have ever encountered over the centuries. However, we were all once young and she was youthful and an uncontrollable girl.

When one is young reason and responsibility rarely strays onto ones mind. Helen, however, was the exception. By the age of thirteen she could read, write and complete an entire autopsy independently. She did not live under the belief that she was adversely missing out by living an alternate life than the oblivious young girls that plagued our society. Helen was never envious nor jealous – that was until the day that altered the rest of her life.

The day that reason and responsibility appeared to have disappeared into a void. The day that we broke nature, the day we can never justify.
