Ice and Snow! You will rule the world of Ice and Snow!

I sighed. The throbbing in my head finally settled down. This tiara. This War. Nothing seems to be going well. You'd think those two countries would get along after two wars. War leads to nothing but mass death and destruction. It didn't make things better at all. I started gathering the supplies I found in the old supermarket. People should strive for peace, not war. So many have died, does death really make things better? I jumped, startled. I dreaded the times when the tiara spoke to me.

Company approaches.

Company? Survivors? I heard soft and tiny footsteps come closer. I shifted a little to grab my backpack. Then the footsteps stopped abruptly. ''Oof.''

''Come out! I won't harm you.'' Out stepped two children from behind a fallen stall. The boy had the girl behind him protectively so I assumed they were siblings. The young boy looked around nine and the girl, five. They both wore gray overalls and red t-shirts. ''What do you want? Where are your parents?''

The boy spoke up, ''we want you to give us some food.'' He spoke harshly, probably hungry. When was the last time they'd eaten?

''Please.'' The little girl stepped forward, good mannered I suppose. I saw the boy looked down at her with a glare and she cowered behind him again.

''It's alright. I have some food to spare. But I won't give it to you unless you come closer and tell me your name.'' I smiled at them both. The young lad hesitated for moment but the little girl pulled away from her brother's grasp and proudly said her name.

''Hey!'' The boy protested.

''My name's Marceline.'' She beamed at me.

Still hesitant, the boy spoke up and told me his name is well.

''Alright Marceline, Marshall Lee. Here's your breakfast.'' I gave each of them a granola bar and an apple. They both ate hungrily, but remembered to say 'thank you' for the food.

Get rid of them. They're useless.

''Marshall Lee, Marceline. I'll take care of you now.''
