The Lie on Your Tongue

Good Morning Sunshine

"Merlin." There was a small groan from beneath the covers. "Merlin, you must wake up."

The lump rolled over, pulling the blankets tighter and purposefully ignoring Gaius. Sighing, he decided to take a less gentle approach.

"Merlin." It was much sterner this time, which the young man must've heard because he slowly pulled the blanket down over his face, stopping so that the physician could only see his half-opened eyes and his incredibly messy black hair.

"Thank you. Now, you must get up very soon. There is going to be a hunt today, remember? I think you would prefer avoiding the wrath of the king so early in the morning."

With that, Gaius left the room, leaving Merlin to finish getting up.

Merlin, however, had other ideas.

"Merlin!"
