Olivia took shelter under her desk and waiting for the incessant shooting to cease. After what felt like forever, the shooter ran out of ammunition. Olivia dashed to the window, using her torch she scanned the area. There didn't seem to be anyone outside. The light of her torch reflected off a piece of paper. Olivia ran outside to take a closer look. She found a crisp piece of paper than read:

"You have the wrong man"

Olivia quickly got the paper to the lab, and put a rush on the brushing for fingerprints and collection of trace evidence.

Olivia was leaning on the edge of her desk, in shock, processing the events of the last few hours. She was trying to think of what she missed, how could they get this wrong? Elliot came bursting through the precinct doors in a distressed flurry. He quickly rushed to Olivia, checking her up and down, making sure she was unharmed.

"Why are you here?" Olivia questioned, confused about Elliot's presence.

"I heard a bang before the phone disconnected, and I rushed straight over. You had me seriously worried Liv, I thought something terrible had happened to you" Elliot gushed, his concern clearly evident.

"No Ell, I'm fine. Just a bit shaken." Replied Olivia.

"I'm so sorry this happened to you. I should have been here," replied Elliot while embracing Olivia in his arms.

Olivia was more than a little happy to feel the warm embrace of Elliot. She longed for the day they could be together, that the circumstances would allow them to be together. Olivia broke the embrace, tenderly gazing into Elliot's eyes.

A/N: Sorry it took so long to update! I don't know where I am going with this story. Some ideas would be much appreciated.
