Justice League of Avengers chap. 2
Green Lantern POV
We were in the watchtower, discussing new members.
"What do you think, Batman?" I asked.
"I'm Batman!" the dark knight replied.
"What about Supergirl?" Superman recommended.
"Wow," The Flash replied, "Nepotism much?"
"There are already seven of us…" Martian Manhunter said.
"And me!" Snapper Carr interrupted.
"You don't count!" I said.
"Anyways," Martian Manhunter continued, "We already have a seven (and a half) members, I think that's enough."
"Okay," We agreed.
An alarm started blaring, "Holy Hera!" Wonder Woman said, "A portal has appeared over New York City!"
"Why is it always New York?" Flash said, "Why not Central City?"
"Or Coast City?" I added.
"Or Metropolis?" Superman added.
"I'm Batman!" Batman said.
"What?" I said.
"What about Gotham City?" Batman added.
"Or Atlantis!?" Aquaman said.
"No," Flash said, "just no…"
We flew to NYC anyways, as we neared the portal we got sucked in!
