Daisy would not stop running. She had to find out about this supposed fight Luigi had with Mario...I mean he could have hurt him on accident, but somthing told daisy otherwise. Pherhaps Mario had got a bit in the way of his plans she thought. But then again why would he want it kept a secret so badly, if mario already knew? Questions would not stop filling daisys head as she began to jog to her car. Yes she had a car. I mean she can't walk all the way from sarasaland to the mushroom kingdom. That was just impossible. She stoped, the wind blowing against her hair gently. She took out her keys and got into the car after unlocking it. This was going to be a long trip, she better be prepared and buckle up.

Mario and Peach waited anxiously. They really wanted to start the search for Luigi...but what if Daisy already knew where he was. This situation would be a whole lot easier. Mario sighed heavily, he could not believe his brother. He almost turned him into barbecue chicken this morning and then he runs off! What kind of brother does that? He started to pace up and down in Peach's grand dining room, his shoes squeaked agaisnt the polished wooden floor. He could see Peach's look of worry. "Hey...Peach we will find him, don't worry!" He tryed to give her a reassuring hug, but she backed away a bit. Giving him a hard glare, turning her nose up and shuffling to the other end of the dining table.

How could Mario? Peach thought angrily. Luigi had tryed to explain everything, but Mario kept shouting insults at him when he had done nothing wrong. He did not ask for the burden of the chaos heart! He simply wanted somone to talk too. How she wished he had talked to her instead of Mario. Mabye this whole situation could have been avoided.

Mario started to shiver, the dining room was very cold but above all so was the look Peach was giving him. He knew he was in the wrong but he did not want to admit it. No way. Luigi should not have given him extra trouble above all his other tiring jobs. He should have known I am to busy too care about his cowardlness. Mario felt a pang of guilt. Luigi was not being a coward, this time things were serious. He gave a loud gulp, trying to forget the fact that his brother was probably out there somwhere, cold and alone.

Daisy had done it. She had drived 1 hour to get to the mushroom kingdom and too peach's castle. She got out of the yellow car and locked it safely. Turning towards the path leading up to the castles main entrance. It brung back a trip to memory lane as she looked at the old tree peach and her used to tell stories at, the two loved ghost stories when they were little. And over there was the golf pitch where she first met Luigi. That was a great day...

"ATTENTION, you are needed emmidiatly at the grand dining room!" Shouted a red toad in her ear. "Jeez, okay! What is with you toads today!" She replied with a angry expression, pushing past the toad and walking into the castle, she needed awnsers.

Walking through the halls of the mushroom kingdom, she slowly managed to navigate her way to the dining room. It was nice being able to walk on the castles red carpet again. It was such a lovely sunny day now and rays of sunlight sparkled through the windows of the castle. She kinda wished Luigi was back and they could all play some tennis. She smelt some toast or breakfast coming from a kitchen to her left in one of the longer hallways. She peered in quickly, the smell was amazing. Then she saw it! Right next to the kitchen there was a room labeled dining room with a little cake symbol and two big round wooden doors. Finally she was here, at last they could get this discussion over with.

Daisy burst in through the doors, most un queenly like. She scanned the room, taking in the tense atmosphere. There was E.gadd in a small corner followed by a angry Peach and guilty Mario sitting on opposite ends of the dining table. Peach's face soon brightened up when she saw her best friend. They had not seen each other in quite a while. "Daisy! How have you been?" She asked politely giving Daisy a tight hug. "I have been great, it is good to see you Peach! Now...what am I here for?" She asked playing dumb. She needed to know what they knew first.

E.gadd stepped over to them, shuffling his feet and looking rather bewildered. She guessed he did not know he was going to be here as well until a few days ago, poor guy. "We are here to discusss my brother. E.gadd thinks he knows what is happening to him and can explain a bit more.I think he was planning to run away for a while." Mario explained gloomily looking at the floor, his head down and small tear ran down his cheek.

E.gadd sat at the table, followed by Daisy sitting to his right."Allow me to explain!" He said while getting out some papers from his small bag. "Luigi over the years has had the chaos heart still inside him. He has been growing constantly with power, which is often very painful as a side affect apparently. Anyway, he is very very dangerous! If anything gets in his way to much, he could accidentally take away a life." E.gadd coughed watching Daisy's reaction. She gasped and held her hand to her mouth. "There is more." He said with a deep sigh. "He can transform any object to a more dark object. This includes himself, if he wants to take on certain animal aspects, or change his clothes...or mind." E.gadd whispered the last part. " The most dangerous part is...he can transform other people. This is quite painful for the other person and can lead to bad injury's. If the transformation is successful, he will share part of his power with the other user. This will give them stuff like very weak transformation powers, but more strong in the fighting department like the use of electricity." E.gadd took a breather again, it was a bit much for the gang to take in.

"Can someone die from the transformation?" Daisy asked, starting to cry a bit...Luigi had had to deal with this for a long long time. That must have been so awful. "Yes in some very rare cases!" E.gadd warned. "Wait, how do you know all this about the chaos heart?" Mario asked E.gadd with a lifted brow. "There have been others to get the chaos heart before Luigi. That included your father." E.gadd replied. The room gasped in horror. So that is how Luigi got it, through genetics. "He was a old friend of mine, and let me do tests on him and record his behaviour." E.gadd explained, trying to put Mario at ease a little. "Not any bad tests." He pulled a innocent face, after all he had done nothing wrong. A scientist will always need to do tests. It is what helps disease and the most burning questions of the world.

"Luigi...well, in very very rare cases, a chaos heart user can turn into a sort of beast." E.gsdd said with a shaky voice. "What do you mean?!" Mario replied, growing worried for his brother. "They can become alien-like or take up partly animal aspects in some cases. This happens when their power reaches it's peek. For example...now." E.gadd twitched.

"He can takeover kingdoms, if he wanted too. But I know Luigi, and I don't think he is like that. However where ever he is hiding, will probably get damaged quite a bit due to energy. The poor lad..." E. Gadd sadly drooped his head with despair, the room turned less tense and more into growing worry. Luigi was their friend, no matter what they would be there for him!

Daisy walked awkwardly over to E.gadd and patted him lightly on the shoulder. E.gadd looked up, an smiled. "Your a sweet lass, you really are, but I am alright Daisy..." E.gadd sounded ill, probably had not slept much Daisy thought. Probably looking into the chaos heart a bit too much.

Oh no. Mario was peering at her suspiciously. Did he know she knew where Luigi was? This was bad. Throughout their whole time here, he had not once looked at her properly. Did he blame her? "Mario, did you...get in a fight with Luigi?" She asked acting innocently. "Well- wait hey! How did you know about that?" Mario said raising his voice a bit. "I just assumed, because I thought that was mabye partly the reason he went off?" She replied quickly, swaying on her heels and swinging her arms, she looked very suspicious probably to Mario. "Very well. Me and Luigi had a bit of a argument I hate to admit. It all started when he said he needed to get me alone, that we needed to talk. I agreed and we sat quietly in the kitchen at are house. He started too- well he started to tell me about the chaos heart and that he could not keep it under control. He looked stressed, like he had been worrying about that moment for a while. I was not having a good day and I- well I-I hit him and told him he had been stupid not to have told me earlier and that he could have hurt Somone. He started to cry and repeat the same words over and over 'I am sorry, I will be fine.' I asked him what he meant and he reassured me that he would be back later. He lied...he did not return."

The room went quiet. Daisy was distraught.

Luigi had been trying to hide it from his brother for a reason, and when he did muster up the courage, his brother rejected him when he needed him the most.

She did what she needed to do. She walked over to Mario with a wide grin on her face, Mario backed away (but not quickly enough) daisy slapped him right across the face, it stung like mad. A big red mark was left on his face next to Peach's smaller one from when Mario had told her.

Mario winced. But he knew he kinda deserved that.

"Alright, listen up guys! I will look for Luigi by myself, I know him and I think I will be better going solo on this one." Daisy announced with pride.

Peach and Mario looked at each other, before nodding. "Good idea girl! You will be able to get that boy back in no time, compared to us." Peach said giving a smile of approval to her best friend. "Do not worry guys, I will bring him back safe and sound!" Daisy replied with a bounce in her step, she could do this.

No one had to know she had a device on her that led right to him...

Right?

E.gadd jumped up out of his chair. "One thing princess, take this." He placed some kind of syringe with liquid in it, onto her hand and closed her fist down on it. "Keep this in case...the chaos heart takes over him a bit to much or if he infects you." E.gadd whispered in her ear before walking back to his seat, giving her a sympathetic look. "It will be alright princess. We all believe in you to take him back home. You got this!" He chuckled and spun around in his spiny chair that he some how got into the room. Odd.

Daisy popped it in her bag carefully rapping it in some tissue, next to Luigi's tracker.

Peach turned to her friend. "Love the jumper by the way~" she cooed eyeing her friends epic style. Peach was a real fashionista. She loved the fact that her best friend was Peach. Such a nice girl.

Daisy said one last goodbye before slinging her messenger bag over her shoulder and running through the halls of Peach's castle. Carefully avoiding any in the way toads. Feeling very much like the girl with a mission. Bring him home. See him again.

No matter what stood in her way.
