Job Interview
"Ok that is IT Harune Aira. Come with me," said Rhythm as she stormed into her friend's room.
"What is it Rhythm-chan?" asked the redhead as she sat up.
"We are getting you a job. Me and Mion love you, but we can't let you keep freeloading. What Kiriname Seiji did was despicable but it was SIX YEARS AGO," said the brunette as she pulled a pale pink ¾ sleeved shirt, a pair of jeans and some heels from her friend's closet.
"She's right Aira. You need to move past what the scumbag did to you," said Mion as she entered the room as well.
Aira looked at her roommates and saw the worries painting their eyes to haunted versions of their usual selves. She sighed and said, "Fine. I'll go out."
Mion smiled and said, "Don't forget your sketch pad. There are some shops at the mall that are looking for in house designers."
"No. I will never show my designs to anyone ever again," said Aira firmly as she pulled on the clothes Rhythm had chosen for her.
"Why not? People would love your designs Aira," said Rhythm.
"Because of Seiji," said Aira as she and her roommates exited her room, "I'll style, i'll tailor, but other than you two, no one will see my designs again. I'm off now."
"Please get a job," murmured Rhythm as Aira walked out.
"Following her?" asked Mion after Aira had left.
"Of course," said Rhythm as they left to follow Aira.
Aira stood outside Prism Stone and tilted her head curiously when she noticed that the mannequins seemed in disarray. She entered and went to one, removing lime green halter top and replacing it with a purple wrap style top that had black embellishments and replaced the silvery skirt with a pair of black skinny jeans.
"Hmmm…." said a tall man as he looked over the new coordination.
"Oh! I'm sorry. Its just…." began Aira.
"No its fine. This one looks way better than the other one. You have fashion experience?" asked the man.
"Ah yes. I'm Harune Aira," said Aira, as she buried her feelings of wariness towards the strange man she was conversing with.
"I'm Akibara Sho," said the man as he held his hand out to Aira, "And i run Prism Stone."
"That's impressive. Who designs for you?"
"I do. But i need someone to coordinate and style my outfits. Most of my staff is models…."
"Uum… i AM in need of employ," ventured Aira warily, "I wouldn't entirely hate coordinating and styling for you."
"Oh the heavens are smiling on me for once," said Sho in an overly-dramatic way.
"Yes! Though… isn't that where…" started Rhythm before her sentence trailed off.
"It is indeed," whispered a man in her ear, startling Mion and Rhythm.
"Hibiki! That was mean!" said Rhythm, glaring at her boyfriend.
"If you're here…" said Mion, looking around excitedly for Wataru*.
"Yes my darling?" asked Wataru as he wrapped his arms around his girlfriend's waist.
"Ne, Hibiki, isn't that where Sho-san works?" asked Rhythm, pointing at Prism Stone.
"It is indeed my love. Why?" asked Hibiki curiously.
"Our third roommate entered the store," said Mion, "And we know Sho is a bit of a flirt and Aira doesn't handle flirts very well at all…"
"Well, we work there too and we can keep an eye on her,"said Wataru, "Would that put your minds at ease?"
The girls shared a look before both nodded their agreement.
"Then we shall make sure Sho does nothing improper to Aira-san," said Hibiki reassuringly.
"Are these all of your individual pieces?" asked Aira.
"They are indeed. And i need someone to coordinate them for my fashion show next week," said Sho.
"I can do that. What exactly will i be doing here besides this?" asked Aira.
"You'll be one of Asechi's employees, she's my store's back of house manager," said Sho, "You'll basically be my coordinator and if need be, you'll tailor stuff for the models."
"Ok. I can deal with that," said Aira as she sat down and started to look at the pieces of clothing, humming to herself as she worked.
Sho examined the pretty red head with a well practiced playboy's eye. She was slim but full figured, she was petite, but she didn't seem small. She had a sense of keep away but she seemed to be a very warm and open person.
Sho smiled, he loved a good contradiction. He'd have fun with this girl.
