disclaimer: I own nothing.
Miss Power took over the city in less than a day.
She took over the world in less than a week.
Even the most powerful countries fell to her rule as she toppled governments. She broke the spirits of the weak and utterly destroyed those who dared stand up to her.
Those poor unfortunate souls whom she had 'arrested' before the fateful showdown were never seen again. All records of their existence were erased.
As for the villains?
They too disappeared, never to see the sun again. No one knows for sure where she took them or what happened to them. Some say that she 'dismissed' them somewhere away from the civilian areas. Others say they're all locked away for life deep in the jails.
Every now and again she would remind the city of the failed coup, reminisce about how she killed the top villain.
As for Wordgirl? She wasn't lucky enough to share the same fate as the Doctor. No, if she were human she would have. Her only saving grace was the fact that she wasn't. After her face was revealed to the villains she was thrown to the ground hard. She lived but only in the hospital. Machines regulated her every bodily function. Her body was alive but she wasn't.
She wasn't living. She was simply in a state of living death. In truth, Miss Power didn't know her secret identity. It was her mother who screamed her name, in horror as she watched the inevitable. She knew she probably would not live. It was her who broke her deepest secret.
A/N: I didn't intend to write an Epilogue but after people asked for what happened next I felt compelled to write an ending chapter.
Also I apologize if the previous chapter seems too short and funky but it's only the 'ending' so there wasn't really a lot to do and I did not have a lot planned out for it so...yeah
Also it's only to apologize for the hiatus that 'Flash of a shadow' is undergoing. It's a long chapter and I've had neither time nor motivation to write it out. After I get around to banging the current chapter out then it should go back to moving along and updating regularly.
