Chapter 2: Part of your world.

Jacko's POV

While Rudy Tabudi was talking to Bicloops about Feria, who just recently found out about Chalkzone.

As they spoke in the chalkmines I stayed by Ferias side and told her everything I knew about the Chalkzone, which was quite a lot considering the fact that I have lived here for a very long time.

I could clearly see Feria very interested in what I said. As I spoke she smiled very widely and nodded her head.

"Well, she can smile at me for as long as she likes, I think it's kind of cute"

I thought as I continued talking and observing her. She was young, I think she could be about 20 to 21 years old. As I noticed that I began to notice other things about her, like how she wore her dark long pin straight hair was in a ponytail leaving her bangs loose and covering part of her face. Her clothes consisted of a t-shirt with a picture of a sugar skull on it and a green skirt. Then I noticed her feet, she wore no shoes.

It was rather strange for me as the only two humans that I have ever seen which were Rudy and his human girl always wore shoes and come to think of it most of the zoners did as well, so why wasn't she wearing shoes?

"Is something the matter jacko?"

Feria suddenly asked with a strange look on her face making me snap out of my thoughts.

"No, I was just...wondering... eeeehm..Why aren't you wearing shoes like all the other humans?"

I quickly asked hoping she would not be weirded out. Feria smiled and rubbed with her hands over her bare feet.

"I like it to walk bare feet so I can always remember I was once a girl of the streets and didn't have the money to buy shoes"

she answered as she looked at the night sky. I looked at it as well now and for the first time I saw how beatiful it all was.

The stars were glowing in the nightzone sky like always, but this night I found them extra special because this special girl was with me tonight...

"Can I ask you a strange question? Are you still single?"

I suddenly flapped out. I quickly covert my mouth after asking that and looked at her with a blush on my face as I regreted my blunt question. I saw Feria blushed as well before she nodded.

"Yes I am, how about you?"

She asked me with a smile on her face.

"I am still single as well, I was engaged once, but my bride was stolen away from me"

I told her with a sad look. When she looked at me with a confused look I told her everything that happend on that tragic halloween night. How I fell in love with this amazing looking pumpking girl and how Rudy stole her away from me.

"That was a doll you know? Rudy made her for the pumpking contest on his school"

Feria told me with a smile on her face. I looked at her with a confused look. I was about to ask her why that would have been a problem when we both heard a evil laugh.

"What do my eyes spot here, The great Rudy Tabudi brought a new girl to our beatiful world"

A voice echoed through the night sky. I looked around for the owner of the voice.

I didn't saw him coming, then I heard a scream. When I looked up I saw Skrawl was holding Feria in his grasp.

"Let her go Skrawl! She never harmed you in any way"

I yelled as I looked at him with a stern look.

"I think I keep her, Maybe Rudy tabudi will finally give me what's rightfully mine"

Skrawl said with a evil smirk on his face. I growled angrily now, I really didn't wanted her in danger like this.

"Where is the Tabudi boy anyway?"

He asked while looking around. I kept my mouth shut and looked at Feria, she was absolutly the frightned.

"I have to save her"

I though as I started to look for a way to get the both of us out of here, without her getting hurt or rudy having to give Skrawl whatever he wanted. As I looked noticed one of the bee-bee boys was hovering right above Skrawl.

"If I could hit him the right way, he would hit Skrawl and then Skrawl would let go of Feria, that would give us an oppertunity to flee"

I thought as I tried to disract him. It worked for a split second, in that second I managed to bent down and pick up a small rock. When he looked at Feria for a small second I quickly threw the rock at the beanie boy, who immidiatly crushed into Skrawl, who in turn inmediatly let go of Feria. I quickly ran over and caught her before I grabbed her arm and we both started to run out of here and away from Skrawl and his minions.

"Bee-beeboys! Get after them!"

Skrawl screamed as he pointed at Feria and me we were currently running towards the Chalk sea.

I was used to run fast for a long time, but Feria wasn't, because soon after we started to run, she began to slow down in exhaustion.

"Come on Feria! We have to keep running! They will catch up to us!"

I told her as I tried to help her up to her feet again, but she just didn't buged.

"I can't, I have to... catch ... my ... breath..."

She said panting very hard. I began to panic, the Beanie boys were getting closer and closer yet we were so close to the seaside now that I could hear the water splash on the shore. If we could only get onto the water somehow then Skrawl would have a hard time to following us! Maybe if we get there then we can avoid Skrawl just long enough for Rudy to come back here and help us.

"Wow, since when do I come up with the perfect plans here?"

I thought as I looked at Feria who was getting back on her feet, ready to move out again.

"I'm recovered, let's go"

She said as she and I began to run again. We contined to run and run till we reached the of the Chalk sea cliff.

Then all of a sudden I felt 2 pairs of arms grabbed me from behind and forced my arms behind my back, it was the Bee-bee boys.

I began to struggle against their hold when I heard blood-curdling shriek. It was Feria who was captered by Skrawl yet again, but this time he hold her above the cliffs abbys, ready to let her go so she would fall ontu the ragibg sea. If she fell then she would surely perish!

"Enough with the games now! Tell me were Rudy Taboudi is or your precious girlfriend will take a long fall down!"

He said sternly as he held her with one arm.

"I don't know where he is! Just let her go Skrawl! She has done nothing wrong!"

I said as I clenched my first angrily. I wanted to do something to stop him, but even if could take another step, Skrawl would let her go and then...

I glaced down and saw there were some very pointy stones under the place where he held here...she wouldn't survive the fall...

"I have to think! There has to be a way to save her and myself..."

I thought as I looked around for a way to get us both out of here, but I saw no other option then tell him were Rudy was at the moment and hope he wouldn't let go of her...

"I'm sorry Rudy! I can't do anything else at the moment to save her..."

I bitterly thought as I took a step foreward.

"Okay Skrawl you win, Rudy is with Bicloops in the chalk mine! Now let her go!"

I said as I streched out my hands to take her away from him, but instead of giving her to me he let her go!

"FERIA!"

I called as struggled even more against the bee-bee boys that held me back. Using all the strenght I could I managed to rip myself away from my captors. Running over the cliff I prayed that I could reach Feria before I jumped after her.

I heard skrawl launch evily as I fell down the cliff. Somehow I managed to reach her, grabbing and holding her I against me we fell. Then all of a sudden abrutly we stopped falling, looking around I noticed why. My cape snagged on a branch of a tree which had been drawn on the side of the cliff.

Thanking our good luck I began to climb, getting both me and Feria to safety. When I reached the top I looked around, Skrawl was nowhere to be seen as he had left to find Ruby.

I sighted before I pulled and held Feria to check of she was okay.

"Feria, are you okay?"

I carefully asked as I placed my skeletal hand on her forehead. She did not rose or respond, but she was alive, I could tell as I saw that she was breathing.

"Its okay, I will take you back to the real world"

I said before I picked her up in my arms, stood up and began to make my way to where I knew the portal was.

It was a long and she was heavy to carry but I carried on as I wanted her in a place where I knew she would be safe.

Finally up ahead I saw the portal, I felt relief wash over me as I got there. Holding her I carried her through the portal back into the real world.

When we were on the real world, on the room I placed her gently on the floor and checked her again as I was afraid that she has passed on while I was carrying her back. But to my relief she was truly okay, still unconscious, but she was alive as I could see she was still breathing gently.

I carefully sang as I kept stroking her hair gently. Then as I sang I noticed that she was slowly waiking. I wanted to be there when she woke but decided against it. She had been through much today. Carefully I stood up and quickly went back into Chalkzone, hoping she would forget about her ordeal...Hoping she would forget everything even me...

Feria's POV

I will see you standing there.

As long as we are parted, I will dream about you.

Someday we will meet again.

That will be the day someday soon.

When all my dreams will come true.

I heard as I slowly started to wake up, one split second I thought I saw the head of a pumpkin very close to me, but when I came too completely it was gone!

"Strange, I remember something about...being in a place called the Chalkzone... and being in danger...but...such a place does not exist...I guess I must have been a dream..."

I thought as I got up from the floor, when I stood up I began to make my way back to my classroom to begin preping everything for the lessons I will give tomorrow.

As I made my way to my class I found that I could not get that song out of my head. It was as if the one that was singing was trying to tell her something with that song...

"Now that you mention it, I don't remember passing out in that room...Wonder what happend before I passed out..."

I thought as I arrived at my classroom and began to work on getting the lesson together. As I worked on that some images flashed throgh my head.

Some were of a strange monster named Skrawl ...falling of a cliff and then man that saved my life and then sang that song for me...

"I'm sure I'll meet the singer again one day, and when that day comes...I'll ask him to marry me, after all he saved my life..."

That thought suprised me for a second, but after a while thinking about it I nodded with determination. That was what I wanted...As soon as I've found the one that saved my life...I will ask him of he would like to be my groom to be...
