Introduction:
5,000 years ago, an ancient civilization known as the People of the Stars worshiped a mystical light called the Dragon Star, which was prayed on by the leader of the People of the Stars, the Star Dragon King, at the top of the Stairway to the Dragon Star. When the star shined, the King knew it would be a message from their god, the Crimson Dragon. The dragon was then summoned to imprison an incarnation of an ancient evil in the earth. This evil is represented in the Nazca Lines. According to legend, the Crimson Dragon could only be summoned with the help of the Signers; whose individual marks either represented the Body, Heart, Hand, Tail, Wings, Foot and Head of the dragon. The Signers are the only group that can summon the legendary Crimson Dragon, the embodiment of the red star. There are seven people in the world that have the Mark of the Dragon and Signer Dragons that fit into the legend. Each birthmark represents a part of the Crimson Dragon, as these marks themselves are actually broken pieces of the Crimson Dragon itself, that later were divided into seven parts. Thus engraved and sealed into seven people called "Signers".
Prologue:
"Oh Kaori, Akiza. You're both my little roses. We are so sorry for how we treated both of you. Please wake up!" Setsuko begged their comatose bodies.
Kaori watched as Misty and Akiza dueled before her. All three girls turned when an explosion sounded from one of the higher floors. The duel currently was in a pause as the girls tried to figure out what was happening. Their question was soon answered as they watched Sayer in the air, falling down towards the ground. "Sayer!" Akiza and Kaori yelled as Sayer's form passed their floor.
"Stop running away from the memories of the past. Your family feared you, They were scared of you two, so they sent you both far away from them. But you're at your new home. Forget the pain your family and friends caused you. Leave your past behind and look to the future." Sayer told the sister as they dueled him.
Even though the girl's monsters hit him with a direct attack -their psychicpowers causing his Life Points damage to become real pain- he walked towards them.
"But we..." Kaori started.
"Are afraid." Akiza finished.
"I'm glad you're afraid." Sayer told them as he continued to walk towards them. "It means you're making the right decision. I'll always be there for you two…. I promise. The Arcadia Movement and I can be your new family. Both of you are not a monster. You are you." Sayer's speech ending as he finally reached the girls and embraced them both.
The girls gasped when they processed what Sayer said. A few seconds passed during their embrace before Akiza spoke up.
"We don't know."
"And you will never know if you don't open up to your new family and accepted who you are.", Sayer replied. "But beware of outsiders for they will try to fill you both with false hope and empty promises."
" I just need to feel safe again. Sayer, help me." Kaori begged inside her head. "You were the one who freed me from my fears. You were right. I should have never listened to Yusei. Somebody help me... Help us." Kaori's eyes watered and tears fell down her face as her begging continued in her comatose state.
Kaori and Akiza stood side by side as both of their Signer Dragons attacked the Daimon Area. They both sported cloaks and masked while their bangs stood out of the cloaks. Akiza's mask was white and had a blue oval-shaped jewel in the middle of the mask's forehead. A red strip ran through both eye holes and at the end of the striped was a circular-shaped jewel. Kaori's mask was also white. But the difference was that on the right side had a blue lightning bolt passing through the right eye hole and ending a few inched below it and that it had a straight red line in the mouth portion of it.
As the dragons destroyed the Daimon Area, large pieces of building fell and landed harshly on the floor. The girls weren't worried though. They were being protected by a purple tinted force field. Both girls had their duel disk out and were holding a few dueling cards in their dominant hand. Kaori and Akiza waited paitently and silently for their respected dragons to finish destroying the area. While they waited, they both noticed a silhouette of a person running towards them though the dust. When the dust cleared, they finally were able to see the person clearly.
It was a man. He had black hair with gold highlights and blue eyes. His hair was in a weird style though. The upper layer of his hair was jutted upward while the lower layer arched down. He wore a long-sleeved blue jacket with a high collar and amber gems, over a sleeveless black shirt with a red symbol, and wears gloves below his elbows with an amber gem on them. His lower body consists of black jeans with amber knee pads and calf-high motorcycle boots and his face he had a jagged criminal marker on the left side. What surprised them the most was that his arm shone with a red glow and as he neared, they figured out that the glow came from a mark.
"Your arm!" Akiza cried out.
"You also have that wretched mark!" Kaori snarled, finishing Akiza's sentence.
"I do." He said as he continued to walk closer to them.
"Stay away from us" Kaori yelled before grabbing Akiza's hand. She placed a dueling card on her duel disk and disappeared, taking Akiza with her.
"Give me back my friends, Lazar. They have nothing to do with this" Yusei growled at him. His friends were being used as blackmail so he could duel in the Fortune Cup.
"Maybe once this Dark Signer thing is all over you'll take her on a date. I'm just saying since you two have some sort of connection." Martha teased Yusei after their talk with Hideo.
"I can't heal her broken heart but you can." Hideo informed Yusei. "Your voice has the power to wake Kaori "
"I love you. " Yusei told Kaori.
"No, you can't! I'm a monster, a sorceress , and whatever else people call me. I am the Dragon Sorceress . You can't love me. You're not supposed to." Kaori told him, desperately trying to change his mind
"Kaori, please understand. You are not a monster and the Dragon Sorceress isn't you. You are a human being. You are Kaori Izinski… the girl I fell in love with and no matter what you say or do will change that fact whether you like it or not" Yusei declared.
"I'll love you even if you'll never love me back" Yusei told Kaori during their duel in the hospital.
"Liar. Everything you're telling me is lie! Only Sayer and Akiza love me! They both understand my pain. Sayer knows what Akiza and I have gone through. Those people who call themselves our parents feared both of us in our time of need... when we needed them the most. All they did was push us away from them. Sayer took us in and gave us a home. He gave us what Akiza and I never thought we could have. He gave us a chance in life, hope for the future, showed compassion and love to both of us, and best of all a family. Arcadia Movement is our family with Sayer as our fatherly figure. He's more of a father than my actual father. All he ever did was call us monsters. Well then if that's what he called us and believed then let me be that monster. You're the worst of all, Yusei Fudo. You're exactly like them but worse. You are giving me false hope and empty promises! I should have listen to Sayer and never trusted you!" Kaori told him fuming with anger.
