Everyone that we interviewed for this case said that Elena was a fun spiritual person until one day she gets a phone call from child protective services stating that she was an unfit mother to take care of three children especially on her own with no job or an appropriate age limit to get pregnant with three kids. At the time she was taking drugs and drinking alcoholic beverages under the legal age limit. She never had the appropriate clothes on to be out in public. Her age was way too low to even be even wearing a thong and no bra. Elena was only 16 years of age when she had all her kids. She was living with her 21 year old boyfriend that was clearly not ready for the responsibility of raising a child or to have unprotected sex. We had interviewed her boyfriend Stefan Boldens to see if he knew anything about her disappearance, he told us that that night her children were hungry so she went to a late night fast food burger bar about eight blocks down their street. When she found out she didn't have enough money she thought she could prostitute for some so she can get food. She did have sex for money but it literally killed her. We talked to everyone on the street and no one knew about it. Later that day we got the autopsy results back and they found the semen of Elijah brown. That night we interviewed him and arrested him for the murderer of Elena Gilberts.

When the autopsy results came he found out that her neck was slashed so she couldn't yell. She was raped and killed by her own step dad who she never knew existed.
