I was heading towards the stairs when Stefan came visible from the living room.
"Elena!" he smiled at me.
"Erhm, Hi" I said, actually trying to get the stairs as I noticed Damon at the top.
"What are you doing here at this time?" Stefan asked with a slight worry.
I looked over his shoulder at Damon.
He could read me like an open book.
"I erhm, I, I just...Erhm" I didn't know what to say.
"Is something wrong?" he asked more worried now, that's Stefan.
"No, no, nothing's wrong, don't worry" I said, looking down in the floor,
I noticed a crack under the carpet.
"Oh, okay" Stefan said.
"I was just going for a hunt, you can wait if you want to?" he said.
"Oh, okay, sure, I'll wait" I shot a glance at the stairs, but Damon was gone.
"I'll just wait in your room" I said to Stefan, needing an excuse to go upstairs.
Stefan left and I wandered upstairs.
