Annabeth's POV
I was now ready for the date. I was wearing a gray blouse that my dad had given me. I had to admit that I like it. I was also wearing my regular shorts and shoes that the Aphrodite cabin had gave me.
As I started walking toward Thalia's pine I saw how everyone was whispering things like "the best couple" or "their first date". For what I can see everyone knows about our date. I wonder if the Aphrodite cabin had told them or if they had heard Percy asking me. Well that dosn't matter, the important thing is that everyone knows.
As I was getting to Thalia's pine I saw Percy's green eyes seeing mine and I smiled at the thought that he was my boyfriend and that with some luck we would be thogether for some time, and now I understand how it is to be in love.
Percy's POV
Annabeth sat down by me as she looked at the sky. I had been staring at her since she was still far away, I hope she hadn't noticed! I was ready for our picnic and I had a surprise for her….
"Hi," I sayed as I saw that she was dressed with a beautiful gray blouse and some gray shoes. Her hair was combed in a way that make her see naturally pretty. She was so beautiful that I couldn't believe that she was my girlfriend.
"Hi," she sayed as she sat down next to me. I opened the basket and started taking out the food. Chiron had helped me to take some food and drinks from the kitchen.
We started eating and started talking about camp. I told her how I had gotten the food from the kitchen, and she told me that the Aphrodite cabin had given her the shoes.
"Annabeth I have something for you," I sayed as we had finished eating. Then I taked out a small was a necklace shaped like an owl and in the other side it had an inscription that sayed "With all my love. From Percy."
"Wow, Percy it is beautiful," sayed Annabeth. And then without warning we kissed. And then I understand how it's love.
