Chapter 2
"What the hell are you doing to her Lee-kun?!"
TenTen yelled, stepping around him, going over to the crying female. The Weapon Mistress wrapped an arm around the younger Kunoichi, looking at her friend with concern; then back at Lee with a glare.
"T-TenTen-chan…I was trying to explain to her what happened between myself and…"
"And who?!"
"…S-Sakura-san…"
TenTen looked at him with disbelief, then back down at Hinata.
"Hinata-chan"
The younger Kunoichi looked up to the bun haired teen, trying to make her tears stop.
"H-Hai?"
"Come with me"
The Weapon Kunoichi stated rubbing Hinata's shoulder in comfort. The Hyuuga nodded to the older Ninja and wiped her hues with the end of her jacket sleeve.
Lee watched his love walk away from him again; he would find a way to make her his again. The handsome blue beast continued his training but found he couldn't stop thinking about her, so he went to Gai-Sensei for advice.
The two Kunoichi were going to TenTen's house, so Hinata could compose her self. They reached their destination within eleven minutes, because TenTen's house wasn't that far from the training fields.
The Weapon Mistress took out her key and unlocked the door to her home.. The two took off their sandals, and entered the living room.
"Sit on the couch and I'll make some tea."
"I-I don't want to impose.."
"Go on sit."
"O-Ok."
Hinata sat on the comfortable couch and waited; TenTen put some water on the stove to boil, then made her way back to the couch.
"So…why were you at Team Gai's training grounds?"
The older female asked, quirking a brow to the shy girl. The Hyuuga looked to the floor, her bangs cascading down in front of her lavender hues, creating a shadow.
"…L-Lee-kun…r-requested in a mission… for me to t-train with him…"
TenTen's brow arched a little higher, her hazel orbs showing interest; she knew that the two were dating, but didn't think Lee would do anything to hurt Hinata.
"If you don't mind me asking…why were you crying?"
The curious Kunoichi asked, her brow starting to lower some. Hinata sighed a little before looking up at her friend and retelling the events of what happened.
After Hinata was done explaining, TenTen was furious but didn't let Hinata see her fury. 'I'm going to…persuade him… to beg her forgiveness…' TenTen thought with an evil smirk, while Hinata stared at her wide eyed.
"T-TenTen-chan…w-what are you…going to do?"
"Nothing.. just a little persuading.."
TenTen said smiling warmly at the other teen; then the teapot whistled and The Weapons Mistress ran to finish the tea. She came back with two cups of raspberry tea and set them on the small table in front of the couch. Hinata gladly took the tea and sipped at it; she sighed a little, worried what she might do to Lee…even if he deserved it.
Mean while Lee was talking to Gai-Sensei, telling him what happened. Gai-Sensei listened intently and when Lee was finished said.
"You must go to your youthful maiden and beg forgiveness! Then when she lets you talk with her, tell her what really happened, then she will forgive you, my youthful student!"
"Alright Sensei!"
Rock Lee said with a smile and gave his Sensei a thumbs up and a smile with a "ting"; while Gai-Sensei gave Lee a smile with a "twang" and a thumbs up. Lee bowed to his Sensei and ran to TenTen's house, to see if his youthful maiden left yet.
The taijutsu genius made it to TenTen's house within the next five minutes and heard the two laughing. He stood stunned at the door; her laugh was so beautiful; after a few seconds he took in a quick breath and knocked on the door.
TenTen stopped laughing and wiped her eye.
"I haven't laughed like that in a long time!"
The older ninja exclaimed happily, standing up and walking to the front door. She opened it and blinked.
"Hello TenTen-chan…is Hinata-san still here?"
"Why?"
"I wish to beg her forgiveness!"
Her eye twitched and she sighed, 'Man…I wanted to force him to beg her forgiveness…urgh…'
"…Fine…but don't make her cry again…"
She growled and turned around to see Hinata standing a few feet behind her. The Weapon Genius walked over to her and put a hand on the Kunoichi's shoulder.
"Give him a chance to explain…if you don't like it…just call me ok? I'll take care of it.."
Ten whispered and smirked a little evilly; she nodded and walked over to Lee. The Weapon User glared at him one last time, then walked back to the couch to finish her tea. Hinata just stood there, looking down, afraid to meet his gaze… and to speak.
"…Hinata-san…c-can you come out here so I may speak to you privately, please?"
Lee asked in a pleading tone, moving to the side so the youthful girl could come outside. The Heiress hesitated, but she slipped her sandals on and went outside.
The Blue Beast of Konoha closed the door and turned to her.
"…Hinata-san…I-I'm sorry for hurting you, but what happened was…"
He took a deep breath and lowered his eyes.
"Sakura-san was walking down the street and I said a youthful and friendly hello. She stopped walking and smiled at me…we started talking about training and her apprenticeship with Lady Tsunade-sama and she suddenly…kissed me…"
He stopped talking and looked to Hinata; who was still looking to the ground, her hues getting glassy, like she was going to cry again.
"I was stunned for a moment but I pushed her away gently and she was smirking like someone saw us…so I turned around and saw you…running...and…and so I ran after you…"
Lee stopped, tears forming in his eyes and his voice began to crack.
"So I could explain…that I didn't kiss Sakura on purpose…I wanted you to be the first person I kiss..but please…forgive me… I couldn't go on knowing..knowing that I broke your youthful heart!"
Lee said, the tears starting to fall from his own eyes and clenched his fists. Hinata looked up when she heard him crying; the shy girl couldn't take it, she couldn't stand to see her love cry, and so her tears started falling.
"…L-Lee-kun…I-I forgive you…"
She hugged her waist and turned around; her head tilted to the ground once more, making her silky locks of hair fall around her face. The tears from her lavender hues hit the ground below and were absorbed into the earth.. Rock Lee looked up, his eyes wide, and took a step towards her. He had to comfort her, he couldn't let his Goddess cry, it was heart shattering.
Lee wrapped his strong arms around her waist, his hands on hers. His Angel gasped and turned around in his embrace; her face met his chest and she cried onto it. His arms started to come up around the middle of her back, holding her to him while she wept.
They stood there for a few minutes and Hinata finally calmed down. She looked up and he kissed the tip of her nose. The shy Kunoichi looked to the side, blushing a light rose color. Lee smiled and started laughing, she looked so cute!
Hinata looked at him with wonder in her lavender hues.
"W-What is s-so funny Lee-kun?"
She asked quietly, which caused him to stop laughing, his face growing serious.
"You look even more beautiful when you blush like that."
He stated giving her a grin and a light blush crossed his cheeks; while her own blush deepened and she giggled softly, looking down. She realized how close they were and the blush fused with a dark red apple, and she took a step back.
"U-Um…g-gomen…"
The Hyuuga Heiress said playing with her fingers; and the Blue Beast kept the smile and his blush grew slightly redder.
"…Hinta-san…"
She looked up to his face, her hues shining with love for him.
"W-Will you go to the carnival with me tomorrow?"
Hinata looked to the side and smiled shyly.
"H-Hai..I would love to…"
"Alright! I will pick you up at 5:30!"
Lee exclaimed happily giving her the thumbs up and the smile with a "ting".
"I must get going! I have to report back to Gai-Sensei!"
"O-ok..Good bye Lee-kun"
Rock Lee kissed her cheek softly; his blush returning, then ran to Gai-Sensei's house. Hinata stood in shock for a moment, and raised her pale hand to the place where his lips were just moments ago. She blushed a light ruby red and walked back into her friend's house.
The Hyuuga slid her feet from her shoes and walked back to the couch, to see an anxious TenTen. The Weapon Mistress's face grew curious, with a hint of concern.
"What happened Hinata-chan?"
Hinata looked up her smiling, then busted out in giggles.
"H-He kissed my cheek…"
She said, her hand still on her face; TenTen's hues grew wide.
"Aww! That's so kawaii!"
The Weapon Genius said giggling happily; as the Heiress put her hand on her lap and looked down.
"Lee-kun…asked m-me on a d-date…"
The fragile looking Kunoichi blushed and looked up to see what her friend's face would look like.
TenTen's mouth dropped and she just gaped at Hinata, but quickly regained composure. The innocent laughter of the younger Kunoichi could be heard, and her friend laughed along with her.
The Hyuuga Heiress glanced out one of the windows and sighed; her father would be furious if she were late getting home.
"…I-I have to go TenTen-chan…my f-father will be furious if I am late…again…"
"Alright Hinata-chan! I'll see you tomorrow!"
TenTen said smiling and stood up; Hinata stood up and the two walked over to the front door. The Hyuuga quickly slipped her shoes on and turned to her friend.
"I-I will see you around 2:00…good bye TenTen-chan."
"Bye Hinata-chan!"
TenTen said waving bye to her friend and went back into the house when Hinata was no longer in view.
