Miley's POV

Hi my name is Miley Stewart. I'm 16 so obviously I'm in 10th grade. My best friend is Alex Russo. She is pretty awesome and we tell each other everything! We are the most popular girls and school, It's pretty cool everybody looks up to you and you know your most likely to win prom queen in senior year, and get all the popular guys...WRONG. We have a really strange situation in this school the popular girls hate the popular guys, and they hate us. I think tis started about four years ago when some crazy chick got in a huge fight with her boyfriend and it just stayed that way. It really stinks, because that kid Nick Jonas, he's pretty hot.

Normal POV

" I hate second period!" Miley exclaimed.

"I know it's bad that Nick is your lab partner, but look in the bright side, I'm in that class." said Alex

The girls walked to their locker to switch their books for second period.

"I don't understand how you are not mad that Taylor is your lab partner!' screamed Miley. She got some weird looks from people standing around them.

"Come on Miley, be real. This stupid tradition started like four years ago I think its about time someone breaks it. Plus, I think Taylor is kinda cute." said Alex, she finished the last part almost in a whisper.

"Your just desperate for a guy." said Miley cooly.

"Well so are you." Alex replied.

"I think that love is stupid." Miley stated.

Alex didn't say anything after that, because she new fighting with Miley will get her nowhere.

They walked to class silently.

Nicks POV

Well, hello there! I am Nick Jonas. I am in 10th grade and am 16 years old. I also have two older brothers and a younger one. As most know I am very popular along with my best friend Taylor Launter. But I have this crush, she's my enemy. The popular girls hate us and we hate them. Her name is Miley and she is like AMAZING! I hate this whole tradition of hate. I wanna tell her how I feel, but I am good for now with just being a jerk.. She would never have the same feelings anyways.

Normal POV

"Dude, calm down. Miley is hot, and smart, she'll be an awesome lab partner. She will get you an easy 'A'." Taylor explained.

"How can you not be furious that Alex is your lab partner?!" Nick exclaimed.

"Have you seen Alex? Plus I think she is an 'A' student. Those two girls may be popular but they are geniuses!" Taylor answered.

They walked to their locker that were conveniently next to each other and got their books for second period.

"Whatever man. I still can't believe your so okay with.. this!" Nick replied grabbing his science book.

Taylor decided to not fight back, so he just rolled his eyes and got his books and they walked to class.

Mileys POV

Ok, so right now I'm in second period sitting next to my extremely cute enemy and trying to pay attention,which is really hard because we keep side glancing at each other. Should I talk to him?

"Why do you keep looking over here?" I asked trying to act annoyed.

"Listen, I don't want to be here anymore then you do, so if you just stop talking to me that would make this a lot easier." he lied.

"Fine"

Wow, just talking to him reminded me why we hate each other he's a total jerk! This stupid tradition looks like it's going to continue.

I look over to Alex and Taylor's table and see them totally flirting and laughing with one another! This is ridiculous! Does she not understand that these guys are jerks.

I look over at Nick and see him staring at me again.

"Ok seriously if i can't talk to you then you can't stare at me!" I said.

He just rolled his eyes and looked the other away.

Omg this is going on forever..

YES! there goes the bell! Crap! and there goes Alex dropping her papers all over the floor. I got to help her.

"Nice job Alex"

I was so mad I wanted to get out of that class fast and now Taylor was helping us to, while Nick was just standing there waiting for Taylor. What a jerk. Now everybody had left the room including the teacher and it was jut the four of us.

All of the sudden I here a loud ring and the announcer goes off.

"We are now on lockdown."
