Tsume turned in his sleep; his head was full of thoughts about what had happened during the past day.

He had been out hunting with Kiba, for some unknown reason the white wolf always needed help hunting. They had returned to the cave where the pack had deiced to stop and make camp for the day, dragging a dead stag behind them and stopped dead in their tracks from what they say when they arrived.

Hige and Toboe had been lying on the ground of the cave, wrestling with each other or so it had seemed at first before both Tsume and Kiba had realized that the two younger wolfs were kissing each other.

Tsume and Kiba had just stood there watching the youngsters wrestling, the gray wolf waiting for the pack leader to do something but Kiba just shrugged smiling gently as he left the cave to take care of the stag, leaving it to Tsume to take care of things.

Baring his teeth's Tsume cleared his throat "What the hell are you two doing?" he all but yelled making the two fly apart and as soon as Hige was of Toboe, Tsume had the chubby wolf nailed against to ground with his own claws.

"Hey, what are you doing, man? Let me go!" Hige said twisting and turning as he tried getting free but he stopped attempts as Tsume jaws snapped shut just inches from his face.

Whining made Tsume look up at Toboe who were coming close "Tsume, let him go, it is like you think-" the puppy said trying to stop them but the gray wolf bared his teeth "Stay out of this, kid!" he snarled making the pups ears go flat as he ran to take cover behind Kiba who had chosen that moment to come back inside the cave.

Tsume turned back to Hige and lowered himself closer "Why were you two kissing?" he asked the chubby youngster who at first didn't seem to understand but then a smug grin spread across Higes face. "No reason, why are you asking?" he lowered his tone to a whisper as he reached up so only Tsume could hear him. "Are you jealous?"

That had been the moment Tsume snapped, he saw red and tasted blood as his teeth sunk deep into Higes shoulders. The sweet taste of blood caused him to open his jaws and release his grip on Higes shoulder to the draw back and stare in disbelief.

He stood there for a moment before a white wolf leaped in between them "Leave. Now" the white snarled, teeth bared and fur ragged. Kibas gaze forced Tsume look down in the ground as his ears fell flat against his head. "I'm sorry!"

Kibas blue eyes seemed the send out a thunderbolt blue "Leave." He snarled again and pressed Tsume back against the entrance to the cave as Toboe and Cheza attended to the still bleeding Hige. The chubby cast a glace at Tsume before his eyes fell downwards, he could have been dead.

Tsume had give Kiba one last excusing look before he'd turn and ran out of the cave and away through the now heavily falling snow, determent to get as far away from them as he could.

Tsume turn again but the sleep he longed for didn't grab him so he roll over last time before he give up trying to sleep. He stand up and walk over to the entrance of the small cave where he had ended up staying last night.

He sits down in the cave entrance, the snow has stopped falling and the winter sun is about to rise, the first light draws a cold picture of the day. Tsume knows he had made a deadly mistake and now he was alone once again, there is no way either of them want him back after yesterday.

Suddenly he hears howling from a far, and he froze as he recognizes Toboes howl. The pup is calling out to Tsume, asking where he is and pleads him to come back to them so that they can be a pack again but Tsume knows that there is no way that Kiba would allow it so he turn a deaf on the pup and after a few minutes the howling slowly quite out.

Tsume realize that he is hungry and runs out to hunt. He mange to snatch a couple of rabbits before he consider himself full and head back to his small cave but he then senses that they are there. And true enough, soon he see Hige and Cheza stand outside the entrance, Hige had a bandage around his shoulder, the one Tsume injured and the chubby meets Tsumes eyes for a minute and a smile spread "Kiba, Toboe, I found him. Tsume is here. Come quickly!" Hige turn and yells into the cave as Tsume turn and start running.

He hear them come after him but he don't want to face them and his pride keep him running without stopping, he sees a opening in the mountain and he run inside, hopping that that he would lose them but he stops when it turn out to be a dead end.

Footsteps behind him make him turn and snarl at Kiba, Hige and Toboe who in their human shapes are up and surrounding him, standing in a circle around him.

"So are you gonna talk to us or not?" Hige ask which earns him a snarl as Tsume rag his fur, which makes the chubby draw back as Toboe inches forward. "Please, come back and talk to us, Tsume" the pup sinks to his knees "The pack isn't the same without you!"

Tsume look at the pup, Toboes green eyes capture him "we are not a pack" he says stubbornly and look away from those eyes. "Oh come on, Tsume" Hige speak up "Look, Cheza healed me" the chubby shows the bandage "I'm Okay now" he grind as Tsume glared at him. "This has nothing to do with or about you, chubby!" he snarls before turning away stubbornly refusing to look at any of them.

"Then why are you running away?" Kiba finally speak up and as usual Tsume can't place where their leader get it all from "Damn it, why does he always has be right?" Tsume think as he signs in defeat, as he turns human. "Who said I was running away? He meets Kibas eyes for a moment before he brush past the heading for the exit with the others following. "Lets go!"

"I don't know man," Hige smirks as he runs up to Tsume "it sure looked like you were running away from us!" he grins and Tsume grunts "You're lucky not to be dead, chubby, I could have killed you yesterday!" he states glaring as he lands a smack on the collar wearing wolfs back head. "Yeah about that," Hige lays an arm around Toboe who have caught up along with Kiba carrying Cheza. "That kissing yesterday was totally an accident, right Toboe?" Hige grins and Toboe blush as Tsume flare up "What?" he snarls looking between the two of them. "Yesterday when you were out hunting, Toboe asked me how to tell if you were a good kisser so I said that could show him and kissed him." Hige said smiling and Toboe pouted, "You said that it be just one kiss but then we started to make out" the pup shoot the chubby wolf an accusing look and Tsumes gaze could kill. "You did what?" he snarled and would have attacked Hige who stepped away if Toboe hadn't been holding him back.

"What can I say, he tasted like a female!" Hige said apologetically before he started to run "I am going to kill you, Chubby" Tsume yelled taking of after a fleeing Hige.

Toboe and Kiba exchanged a knowing look as they took of running as well, following behind the gray wolf who currently hunting down the fleeing brown collar wearing wolf.

And so the pacts journey to paradise continued,
