HP POV

After another fitful nights "rest" I woke up around six in the morning and started a new day. I made myself breakfast (I never could stomach the thought of having a house-elf other than Dobby) and picked up another book from my pile of "must reads", Alchemy for Beginners by Nicholas Flamel.

Now that I'm not running for my life or pretending to be whomever the Wizarding world wants me to be I can finally stop dumming myself down and learn as much as I can that could possibly be of use. After the horcrux was gone I didn't lose my Parseltongue ability and my magic reserves increased because it didn't have to fight the horcrux off anymore so I no longer need a wand but decided to show my slytherin colors and not tell or show anyone that. I also am quite dedicated to learning all I can in case of something else happening.

I spare a look at the clock again, only two hours had past blast it. Teddy won't be here for another three hours. After going through all my school books (again) and double checking my moke skin pouch (wonderful thing to have on you at all times especially when you have a tent, library, food, clothes, baby things and such) I grabbed another book from the pile cursing my stupid ability to read much faster and retain what I have read thanks to occlomency, a blessing and a curse it seems.

Another three hours of dawdling around and it was finally time to go and get Teddy. I hurriedly got my cloak and apparated straight to Andromeda's knowing I would be received with a tired Andy and a happy baby. It was a quick bit of paperwork and me and Teddy were off.

As I entered the cottage I saw something or should I say someone I had never thought I would see again.

"Ello Fawkes" I expected a trill perhaps for him to fly to me so I could pet him. I didn't expect for his to land on my shoulder and light on fire. It was over too quick for me to do anything. Suddenly Fawkes was gone, I was in a forest somewhere with a baby in my arms neither of us harmed in any way and my magic was going crazy. Shit.

NARRATOR POV

No one was close enough to the glen Young Harry and Teddy appeared in to notice but forces, powerful forces some benevolent some not, had felt them arrive in what Harry would soon come to know as Middle Earth.
