Cinderheart P.O.V.

Cinderheart walked out onto the court in her school jersey. Hazeltail, Poppyfrost, Icecloud, and the rest of the team were on their side of the court waiting for her.

"Where were you?" asked Poppyfrost

"I'm here now." I snapped.

The team looked at me weird, wondering why I snapped at them.They should deal with it, always wondering where I am. It's none of their business. She put the thought to the back of her mind and she focused on the game. They were up against River. They were strong but pretty slow. This should be easy! Cinderheart let Hazeltail take the tip off. Hazeltail was a good jumper. Oakheart took the tip off for River's side. The whistle blew and the ball went up into the air. Hazeltail jumped and hit it towards Cinderheart. She caught it and scored a 3 pointer just like that. The Thunder audience side clapped while the River audience remained quiet. River took the ball and they immediately threw it back into play. One tall River girl took the ball and dribbled it towards our goal. Poppyfrost ran up to her and just as the River girl shot the ball she snatched it and ran down the court, dribbling the ball and did a layup. The Thunder side roared. They were at an early lead 5-0.

Cinderheart took a big drink of water. It was halftime. We were winning 57-55. Poppyfrost had twisted her ankle in the 2nd quarter and had to sit out. Jayfeather had fixed her ankle up just as they called halftime. No one's too hurt at least. They stepped out onto the court and the game started up again.

They had 1 minute left. It was tied 60-60. Thunder had the ball. Cinderheart dribbled up the court. One of the River students pulled a dirty move and tripped her. She stumbled and fell but caught herself. The River player smirked and ran down the court with the ball. She attempted a layup but it bounced off the backboard and Cinderheart was there to catch the rebound. She dribbled up the court. 30 seconds. 2 River students double teamed her. How am I gonna get past them? She could easily make the shot if she got a chance. Cinderheart. looked at the clock. 10 seconds. Just then Cinderheart had an Idea. She jumped up high as she could and hurdled the ball at the hoop. The buzzer sounded. The ball hit the rim. You could hear a feather drop it was so quiet. The ball rolled around the rim and fell in. The Thunder crowd went wild. Just then she noticed Lionblaze in the crowd. He smiled at her when she caught his gaze. She beamed. Her teammates crowded around her while the River players just stared at her with the most amusing What the hell just happened face in the world.

They were in Lionblaze's dorm. Music was blasting loudly as everyone partied after the win. Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Cinderheart all shared the same dorm. Even though you could basically call the dorm an apartment. It had a small kitchen a few comfy chairs a TV and a fairly large sized living room and 2 bedrooms. Lionblaze and Cinderheart shared a room while Jayfeather had his own. Warriors High was a bit of a weird school. You were allowed to drink alcohol. But no one ever complained about it. Besides the people next to the High School. Firestar, Brambleclaw, Graystripe, and Longtail had brought the beer and the drugs(much to Lionblaze's and Cinderheart's complaints). Firestar was drinking beer while jumping around the room. Graystripe and Longtail were stumbling around the room with bloodshot eyes and a beer in their hands. For seniors in their last year of High School, they acted and partied like they were mad men who never even heard of school. Cinderheart and Lionblaze. Were drunk as shit and Jayfeather had passed out an hour ago in his room after barely making it there. This is one awesome party! She thought with a grin on her face.

Lionblaze P.O.V

Lionblaze was having an awesome time at the party. He was drunk as fuck and Cinderheart had said yes to him asking her out. I hope everything works out tomorrow. Lionblaze looked over at Cinderheart. She was also very drunk and was looking at Lionblaze with a goofy grin on her face.

"You sure do know how to have a party Lionblaze." she laughed.

"It's not hard when you know Firestar to have a good party." he joked.

She nodded and went back to drinking. Lionblaze was looking at Firestar who was over with Graystripe and Longtail, snorting their lives away with cocaine. Lionblaze sighed. He didn't understand what was so fun about wasting all your money on some illegal white powder to snort up your nose when you could just spend a few bucks and get drunk as fuck and have just a good time. Lionblaze shook his head clear of those thoughts and almost completely finished his beer in 1 chug. His vision blurred even more and the room swayed to his eyes. Lionblaze could feel the sensation of the alcohol as it coursed throughout his body. I am drunk as fuck. Fuck. Fuck! Lionblaze got up and stumbled over to his room. Cinderheart looked after him in confusion. He went and got his phone and stumbled back over to Cinderheart.

"llleeettt meee have youurrrr nummmbbbeeeeerrrr." he slurred.

Cinderheart giggled and gave him her number the best she could. Lionblaze nodded and went back to his room. He put his phone down and then everything went black as he passed out.
