Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail, the Naruto Themes, or the Dungeon and Dragons Themes and characters inputted into story. If I did Romeo would be with Wendy the minute she got back from Tenrou Island, and he would haven't been a minor side character. I own only the OC's.

Chapter 2

The Nightmare Meeting

Romeo felt a hand shake him. "Romeo, wake up," he heard as he was shaken even harder this time. "Romeo, wake up little guy."

His eyes flew open and he was blinded by the sunlight "Wasn't I in a cave just a moment ago? When was I moved?" he thought to himself as looked over to see who woke him up. He stopped breathing upon seeing who it was. He couldn't believe it; standing next with that grin he was famous for plastered on his face was the Fire Dragon-Slayer Natsu Dragneel.

"How it going, Romeo?" He asked. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

Romeo started to cry again. "But some guy from the Magic Council came by and told us you all were wiped out on Tenrou Island."

Natsu's face took on a confused look. "You sure about that? Cause nothing happened at Tenrou Island unless you count the fact that I BECAME AN S-CLASS MAGE OF FAIRY TAIL HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH!" he yelled to the sky, hands on his hips.

Romeo's face lit up and the tears stopped, "Rea- Really? You beat Ezra, Mira, and Gildarts?!"

"Yep! Beat them, even Laxus who showed up on the island for some odd reason, but my greatest accomplishment was when I beat that Stripper Ice Princess Gray into the ground. Ha! He never stood a chance against my Roar of the Fire Dragon; isn't that right you guys?" he yelled over his shoulder.

Romeo leaned over to the side to see all the participants of the S-Class exam nodding their heads up and down.

"Yes, Yes, Natsu good job, but there's no need to be too excited about this, right Happy?" commented Lucy.

"Aye, Sir. Hey Carla, to celebrate Natsu's victory, how about some fish?" and with that, pulled a fish from out of nowhere. Romeo sometimes wondered if that was a rare magic type Happy had.

"No," was all he got from Carla who then went back to ignoring him.

"'Tis most true, Sir Natsu fought with such vigor and valor when he defeated me. I must say it was truly an honor to be defeated by him," Ezra praised with a hand to her chest.

"Natsu's defeat of my sister was MANLY!" cried Elfman, who, for reasons probably best left unexplained, was crying.

"There, there, Elf-nii-chan" Lisanna said while trying to comfort him

"Can't believe the flame brain beat me," Gray said as he sighed, and while in the middle of stripping off his pants.

"Oh, Gray-sama do not worry! Juvia-chan stills love you and wants 30 babies with you!" she said while she was in mid-air about to tackle Gray.

"But it's okay, I was able to heal everyone up," Wendy explained while blushing lightly.

"Wow, Wendy is really pretty when she blushes," Romeo thought for a second, lost in her long flowing blue hair.

"Anyway, Romeo now that I'm an S-class mage, I have decided to take you under my wing as my student," Natsu said with arms crossed.

"Wow, no way! Really?" Romeo screamed while jumping up and down.

"Yep, and trust me, in an about a decade you may even be able to surpass me," Nastu said.

"Natsu that is a most excellent idea! Fairy Tail could use more mages of your skill level!" Ezra agreed.

"Isn't this great Romeo? You get to be a Dragon-Slayer like me," Wendy said as she grabbed Romeo's hands and started swinging them up and down. At this point, he didn't even try to hide the blush on his face.

"Oh gods, this has got to be the best day of my life. It's like a dream come true!" Romeo cried.

"Oh, if this is a dream then I'm about to make it a nightmare, vermin," a voice called out that made Romeo's blood run as cold as ice. His heart stopped beating for a moment, and his knees began to shake. Pretty soon a stream started going down his pants. Without warning, Natsu and the others started to vanish into thin air. Even Wendy disappeared with a smile still on her face. A shadow that blocked out the sun appeared above Romeo and he looked up to see what it was.

He instantly wished he hadn't, for descending upon him from the now darkened sky was a giant winged creature. As it flapped its wings, huge holes appeared in the ground in front of the terrified boy.

Romeo wanted to run, but his legs wouldn't obey him. As it landed some distance from him, the ground shook violently, knocking him on his butt and the creature's clawed talons instantly left footprints. A quick glance revealed its entire upper body was cloaked in pitch black scales with twisting sky blue markings covering them. The lower body, from belly to the end of its tail and legs were covered in gray scales, and the end of its tail was shaped like an axe. Its eyes were the same white eyes Romeo saw in the cave staring at him. The head of the creature was large and round while also looking blunt with four large and jagged spikes coming out of the back of it. What scared the small child the most at the moment was the creature's mouth that reflected the small boy in every one of its razor sharp teeth. At the end of its lower jaw was a sharp-looking chin that pointed out.

The creature took a second to look around the area that it landed in. Turning its head created a vacuum of air that rushed out from behind Romeo, threatening to bring him even closer to the beast. Finally, it looked at Romeo and once again the boy's breath caught in his throat. To him, it was like the beast's stare alone was powerful enough scare the air around him away. The creature then proceeded to take a step toward. In doing so, a mini earthquake occurred. It took another, then another, each time shaking the ground underneath his feet until the creature finally stared down at the kid. Eyes piercing through his soul, the monster's mouth was slightly open breathing hot air into his face.

"Little vermin, you've been knocked out for a quite a while now," the creature said in a deep, harrowing voice that shook Romeo to the bone, though it did help the boy realize that the beast was male.

"I thought I would let you enjoy your little fantasy for a while before I swooped in. Now, this question has been on my mind for a while, and I hope you can answer it. Can you?" he asked while all Romeo could do was stare up at him. "I don't remember giving you permission to sleep now did I you little piece of rat dropping?"

All he got from the boy was silence.

"DID I?!" he literally roars, "ANSWER ME IMMEDIATELY WHEN I SPEAK TO YOU! DO YOU UNDERSTAND YOU FEEBLE SPECK OF DUST?!" Romeo fell on the ground in a fetal position while he started to cry for his dad. "Stop that infernal crying, you worthless maggot," the beast demanded. Romeo instantly stopped, fearing for his life. "You have no idea who I am, do you?"

Romeo slowly shook his head in fear.

"You humans and your beliefs that you own this planet, disregarding everything else around you, especially your superiors. Very well; let me tell you who I am, you small insignificant pebble." He pulled his head away from Romeo and looked straight ahead. "I AM THE DESTROYER OF CIVILIZATIONS, BRINGER OF TRUE DAMNATION TO THOSE WHO ARE UNLUCKY ENOUGH TO CROSS MY PATH. I AM THE SHADOW OF DEATH, THE ENDER OF ERAS AND THE HERALD OF THE END TIMES!" He spread his wings wide and lashed his tail in the air. "I AM THE DRAGON KING, ACNOLOGIA THE APOCALYPSE DRAGON!" He brought his head back down to a frightened Romeo's level while flashing an evil, predatory grin. "And you and I are going to have a little talk, vermin."

Omake:

Romeo: "So much yelling."

Acnologia: *puts on large pair of shades* "Deal with it"

Author's Notes: Finally got that second chapter up. Before you ask I know Acnologia known as the black dragon, but that didn't sound dreadful to me. That like putting on the same level with Sting's dragon. I will be changing up Acnologia's history so that he was originally a dragon, but I'm coming up with a good backstory for him.
