Well, here ya go guys, the second chapter. Works been murder and it's prevented me from writing as much as I would have liked. Hope you enjoy.
Also a few more characters are revealed in this chapter as well. Just figured I'd let you know. Oh yeah, I should mention im using several types of cards that don't exactly fit the era of dueling GX takes place in. What ones won't be revealed for a while though.
Chapter 2: Arrival.
"Look, it's him."
"Who, the blonde?"
"Yeah, he's the one who beat Crowler like it was nothing."
"Wow, really? I heard he did it with a monster no one's ever seen before!"
"Yeah, it was so strong it wiped out Crowler's legendary golem without any power ups! It was so strong it was scary!"
"That's so cool! I wish I had been there to see it!"
Naruto silently groaned as he sat back in his seat on the helicopter heading for Duel Academy and stared out the window at the sea below. Two days had passed since the entrance exams, and word had spread about Crowler's defeat at his hands. Already he was receiving stares from the people in the seats around him. And to tell the truth, it was getting annoying.
"Penny for your thoughts?" a voice asked from beside him. Naruto turned to his left to see Alexis there, smiling kindly at him.
He sighed and shook his head, before turning to look out the window again. "It's nothing; I just wish I hadn't revealed the Kyuubi as soon as I did."
Alexis nodded, she'd heard some of the rumors and saw the looks the blond next to her was being sent form the other passengers. Many of which were already starting to sound totally unrealistic and unbelievable.
"Well, you could have beat Dr. Crowler without summoning him." She offered with a grin.
Naruto nodded in return but continued to look out the window. "I guess," he muttered, "but the guy is so arrogant! He was more interested in making me lose than testing me. He got what he deserved."
Alexis nodded as she sat back in her seat. That much was true, she knew, but the guy was still a teacher. But that actually lead her to another question.
Just what the hell was Kyuubi in the first place?
It wasn't like any other card she had seen-although she would be the first to admit that the number of cards she hadn't seen before outnumbered those she did-so was it new, or just one of those super rare ones that only came to a person once in a life time?
Naruto seemed to know what she was thinking, because he let out another sigh and turned back to her. "Wondering about Kyuubi?" he asked.
Blinking in surprise, Alexis blushed slightly and scratched her cheek sheepishly. "Kinda. Though I've gotta admit it's not like any card I've ever seen before. Is it rare?"
Despite wanting to keep as much about it a secret as he could, Naruto chuckled slightly and reached into the deck box strapped to his leg before pulling out a pair of cards. "You could say that." He said, looking at the cards before turning them to her.
Alexis stared at them intensely as she went over them. The first was a magic card with an orange background behind what looked to be a weird sort of scribble pattern shaped like a swirl; but there was a large slash like something had taken its claws to it, and staring out from the emptiness within the slash was a large red slitted eye.
Alexis held in the urge to shiver at the sight and turned her attention to the card that depicted the Kyuubi on it. It was outlined in blue to show that it was a ritual card, and gave no definite attack or defense points. The image on the face was of a large nine-tailed fox outlined in red as the forest around it burned against the night sky above. However, the most disturbing part of the image was the eyes; it's red and black slighted eyes seemed to stare right up at her as if the beast was trying to decide if she was worth ripping apart or not.
This time Alexis really did shiver and Naruto chuckled again before withdrawing the cards and putting them back where they belonged.
"The Kyuubi is actually part of a small series." (1) Naruto informed her, causing her to arch a brow. Naruto smirked slightly at her look and noticed that he had gained the attention of Jaden and Cyrus who were sitting in the seats in front of them; both of whom were looking over the tops of their seats with shared expressions of curiosity.
Mentally sighing, he went on, "Kyuubi, or the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, is part of a series of cards called the Biju Resurrection. There are nine monsters in total in the set, each with a different number of tails ranging from one to nine. As the number of tails increase so does their strength. Kyuubi having nine tails is the strongest out of them all, despite not having a definite attack or defense." He paused for breath and let the information sink in for his new friends. He smiled a little when he heard an approving growl in his mind when he mentioned Kyuubi's position as the strongest.
"The strongest?" Alexis breathed out in wonder, before something dawned on her. "Wait; Kyuubi is the strongest out of nine than that means there are eight more of these...'Biju', right?" she paused as if testing the word out.
Naruto nodded, he had a feeling he knew what his fellow blonde was going to ask next.
"Then why are we only hearing of these cards now? Wouldn't news about cards with high power levels be all over the place?"
Naruto smirked and closed his eyes as he leaned into his chair more. "You would think." He muttered. "Even though there are nine of them, they're only given to a specific few and the ones they're given to are made to hide them. I've only ever met two other people with Biju cards, and I've heard nothing of the rest; even when I was dueling in the underground."
The others gapped at the admission from the whiskered boy.
"Only two others?" Cyrus asked and Naruto nodded.
"What Biju did they have?" this time it was Jaden who asked.
Eyes remaining close, Naruto shrugged, he saw no harm in revealing that; it wasn't like they were going to be at the academy anyway. "The first one I met was, ironically, the holder of the One-Tails; the Ichibi No Tanuki; and as for the second-" he was cut off when the intercom went off.
"Attention students, this is your captain speaking. If you look out your window you'll see your new home away from home."
There was a sudden rush as everyone in the helicopter scrambled over their seats to their windows to catch their first look at the school that would be their home for the next few months. Naruto's explanation was momentarily forgotten as his three friends were caught up in the rush.
Sighing and shaking his head Naruto put his hands behind his head and relaxed further into his seat with a small smirk.
"I'm surprised you aren't as excited as these other flesh bags, kit. You were always the excitable one."
Naruto wasn't the least bit surprised by the voice and mentally shrugged to it. "Why should I be, Kyu? I've spent the last three years in the underground going up against some the most brutal duelists around. I doubt anyone we meet here can hold a candle to any of them. Besides, I know what the academy looks like, I've seen the pictures." He replied, deadpanning at the end.
There was a small pause from the fox and Naruto knew he'd won this round before the fox responded. "I suppose…just don't forget to summon me every now and then for some fun. It's boring in here with nothing to do and only scale butt here to talk to."
A low growl resounded through Naruto's head at Kyuubi's insult.
Naruto grinned to himself, and nodded, "Of course. I'll be sure to summon you both when I run into a strong enough opponent." He said, hoping to pacify the other resident in his head before he could cause a fight with Kyuubi. He didn't need the headache he received when those two fought; which was quite often.
With that Naruto opened his eyes and looked out his window to catch his first look at the academy; he never noticed two girls in the back row, one with mint green hair and the other with blonde, staring at him; one with a look of contemplation and one with a glare.

"So that's him, huh? The holder of Kyuubi?" the one with green hair asked, looking over to the blonde next to her.
The older looking girl nodded. "It is." She replied simply with a small scowl.
The mint haired girl sighed when she saw this and shook her head at her friend. "How are we gonna approach him though? We need him and the Nine-Tails to fight against-" her mouth was suddenly covered by the now named Yugito.
"You know we're not allowed to talk about this in public Fu, and I could care less if he was in the group or not. No self-respecting duelist would do what hedid." She all but growled.
Fu sighed into Yugito's hand; she never could understand Yugito's grudge against underground duelists. She looked over to the third member of their group for help; a red headed boy with dark bags around his eyes and the kanji for 'love' tattooed to his head; who was staring at the whiskered blonde. Fu sighed again when she saw his attention focused on their group's potential member; clearly she would get no help from him.
The red head shook his head at the antics of the duo, ignoring the cackles in his head. 'You had better prove yourself to Yugito fast Naruto. If you don't there's a chance you won't make it through the year...alive.'
Naruto looked around the room he now found himself in. Around him stood Duel Academies's newest students, each of them eagerly awaiting for the headmaster's welcoming as they waited with their dorm mates.
He looked down at the yellow blazer he'd been given upon leaving the plane and frowned in distaste. He'd known everyone got sorted into one of the three dorms of the academy depending on how they ranked on their tests but he was not expecting his dorm to be this particular one and his eyes narrowed dangerously. Around him stood several others also wearing the same blazer, though most were closed compared to how Naruto wore his unfastened and open, showing the black shirt he wore beneath it.
It wasn't the dorm itself that drew Naruto's ire, but of who he knew had come from it; it was his dorm.
Naruto stopped himself before he thoughts led him into things he did not wish to remember and looked over to his left; where Jaden and Cyrus were standing among their fellow dorm mates each wearing a red blazer.
Naruto felt a small grin come to his face as he looked over his newest friends; honestly, the two's dorm placement didn't surprise him in the least as the two had openly stated they'd barely passed the written portion of their written exams, speaking of the two, he chuckled when he saw Cyrus elbow Jaden in a vein attempt to wake the hero user.
Looking to his right, Naruto's sight was met with a sea of dark blue, and his grin widened when he caught sight of Alexis. She herself sported a mostly white blazer outlined in blue and an extremely short skirt only stopping mid-thigh. Naruto had to stop himself from chuckling again when he remembered the fit she'd thrown at receiving her uniform. According to her it showed more skin then she was comfortable with. Eventually tough she'd relented and adorned it even then Alexis still looked more than a little ticked.
His attention was drawn when a small ring echoed through the area and a screen on the wall everyone was facing came to life. Showing on the screen was a middle-aged bald man with a thick beard wearing a jacket in the colors of the slyfer dorm.
Naruto grinned again when he saw the man. The one who'd helped him out more than once in recent years.
"Hello and welcome my dear students." the man said in a jolly sort of tone. "I am Chancellor Sheppard, headmaster here at the academy, and you are the best and brightest young duelists the world has to offer. Now please, get yourselves settled in at your assigned dorms, you've been given instructions on how to reach them along with your school colors so you should have no problem reaching them. I think you'll find your dorms quiet comfortable; depending on how you ranked of course." Chancellor Sheppard chuckled as if he was making a joke and the screen cut off.
With that the few teachers that were stationed around the room began to escort the students out of the room.
Looking around as people began to move, Naruto caught the gaze of pretty blonde haired girl around his age with dark eyes glaring at him with a large amount of disgust.
His brow quirked at this; what had he done to warn' that? He hadn't pranked her in the past had he?
However, before he could move to question the girl his attention was drawn when he heard something that caused a shiver to run down his spine.
"Yo, yo little nine, you be looking fine!" (2)
'Oh fuck."Naruto and Kyuubi mentally cursed at the bad rhyme. Well it was mentally for Naruto since Kyuubi couldn't be heard by anyone but him. What the hell would he be doing here? He was supposed to have a job someplace far...away...shit!
Praying that he wasn't right, Naruto turned and cursed again as another shiver ran through him.
"H-Hey, Bee." he stuttered nervously.
Standing there at in impressive height of six-five, arms crossed with a smirk on his face and his ever present sunglasses on was Kirabi, or as he liked to be called, Killer Bee. Bee was a large dark skinned man with bulging muscles, a white wispy beard and a pair of tattoos on both the right side of his face and shoulder. Bee was also the other Biju holder Naruto had met and the experience was not one he really wanted to remember.
"Now no need to be down on this fine day nine-o." Bee tried to rap, badly. "The big man simply wants a word with you, yo!"
Naruto faced palmed at the man's bad use of lyrics as by now people around them started to look at them strangely. But nodded in consent once he felt Bee place his hand on his shoulder and begin to lead him out of the auditorium.
Naruto cast one last look around the room in search of the glaring girl, but found she'd been lost in the bustling crowd making their way out the room.
Making it out the door Naruto and Bee wadded trough the crowded halls, until Bee turned into a side hall a short way away from the auditorium.
"So, there a reason why Sheppard wants to speak with me in particular." Naruto asked a short time later, once he was sure they were safely away from the crowd.
Bee was silent for a bit as he went over the blondes question before answering. "Big man Sheep tells little but words tell twice as much, yo! Though telling I be not, ha!" bee rapped with a grin, oblivious to the large been of sweat making its way down the back of Naruto's head.
'I must have offended Kami in a past life somehow if she's making me deal with this.' Naruto mentally groaned as they stopped at an elevator at the end of the hall and Bee pressed the button to call for it.
As he stepped on the blonde jinchuriki heard kyuubi speak. "You think this is bad?" the fox asked in a rhetorical manor, "Hachibi was three times as bad as this back when they first made enka rap. He stopped after a while though, mostly because me and the others ganged up on him and forced him to stop. I swear he was worse at rapping then Shukaku is insane!"
By the time Kyuubi's rant had finished, the sweat drop on Naruto's head had doubled in size. 'Kyu,' he thought to his tenant, 'your family has problems.'
Naruto was met with a small growl from the fox and a snort of laughter from his other tenant, and he closed his mental connection to them as the elevator dinged and the doors slid open to reveal a small hallway with a set of large double oak doors leading to, were Naruto assumed was, Chancellor sheppard's office.
Stepping out of the elevator, Naruto and Bee made their way to the doors. Stopping just before them, Bee turned to the young blonde.
"This is were I leave you nine-o, the fool teachers be needen me to help watch the students, yo!" naruto sweat dropped again at the man's bad rhymes, but nodded nonetheless.
"Alright, see ya later I guess."
With his fair well given, Naruto watched and waited as Bee turned and disappeared back down the elevator before turning and knocking on the doors and a muffled, "enter" granted permission to proceed.
Opening the doors and walking into the office, Naruto grinned at the man sitting behind the large desk in front of a large window over looking the academy's campus and the ocean.
"Ah, Naruto my boy, its good to see you again. Please do come in." Sheppard greeted, returning the blondes grin and beckoning him into the room further.
Striding up to the desk, Naruto's smile widened and he greeted the bearded man.
"Hey Uncle Sheppard what's up?"
(1) Please just go with it. Everything will be revealed later on.
(2) Yeah, I'm no good with rhymes so they wont be to good.

Okay so how was that, I know it probably wasn't the best it could have been ad that it was mostly a filler but like I said I haven't had much time to write with work and college stuff.
Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this one since the next is going to reveal some of naruto's past as well as the meeting with Chad and his little gang.

Okay so after a while of debating I decided to continue on with this story.
Also I don't really have a solid plan for this story yet so any help from the readers will be appreciated. Pm or leave me a review on for any ideas please.
