2. Indigo
In vanity she sought her beauty preserved,
never to become encased with age, that coming
decay that called. For that selfish wish she crushed many
in her path. Still, perhaps that arrogance of hers
got her something after all, for defeat fulfilled her wish
on the castle door, her printed self trapped forever more.
