Chapter 2: At the Animal Shelter
"Hey Ron, Come look at these guinea pigs," called Hermione.
"They're so small!" exclaimed Ron. "Why do they call them guinea pigs? They look more like a ball of fuzz! Muggles have such weird names!"
"Do you want to adopt one?" asked Hermione.
"Sure!" exclaimed Ron. Hermione walked over to a person behind a table a explained that they wanted to adopt a guinea pig. The person handed Hermione some papers to fill out. It took no time at all to fill out the papers. Hermione handed back the papers to the woman behind the table. Then the woman handed the cadge to Ron. Hermione gave the women a check and they walked out. When they were out of sight they apperated home. When they got back, they discovered two things. One: Guinea Pigs can jump, even though the adoption people said they don't. Two as Ron found out: Guinea Pig poop smells really bad.
"What should we name it," asked Hermione.
"Well since you chose the pet, I'll choose the name. How about 'Penguin'?" suggested Ron. Hermione rolled her eyes.
"Whatever you want dear," said Hermione sarcastically.
