Hello guys! I'm so sorry that this took me so long to upload. I lost my notebook where I was planning out the whole story but, I improvised and started typing again! I hope you enjoy!

"I want to talk about you and my brother." Mephisto said as I tilted my head, thinking.

"W-who?" As soon as those words left my lips I remembered who his brother was.

"Amaimon." He said, forcing me to make eye contact.

"What about us do you want to know?" I broke eye contact with him and looked awkwardly at the back of the chair I was standing behind.

"I don't approve of you two. He… he's too powerful. If you got caught in the crossfire of a fight he could hurt you." There was seriousness in his voice, and a hint of concern.

Growling I looked up at him, anger flaring up within me, stirring up my flames slightly. "What!? Do we suddenly need your permission to be together?"

Mephisto slid off his desk, taking a slight step closer to me. "Now, that's not what I'm saying Yasha. Calm down. All I'm saying is that Amaimon may be too powerful for you to handle. He's reckless and doesn't pay attention to what he's doing to things around him as long as he's having 'fun'." I snarled, not liking for someone to tell me what to do. Especially Mephisto. He thought that since we were together for a short while a hundred or so years ago that I wasn't fit for anyone. My flames licked around my hands and arms, begging to be let out. "Yasha, your flames." He said, "You really need to calm down. You know how you get when you're upset."

"I know exactly what I'm doing." I lied. My flames would get out of hand when I got angry or upset in any way. Mephisto had experienced it first hand when he first met me. It was when my first familiar was killed after 5oo years of being together, a mid-level Naga that I had gotten attached to, and I lost her. An exorcist had killed her in the middle of a fight and I went ballistic. My whole appearance changed as I let my true powers come out, my raven black hair changing to long golden hair, and my normally purple eyes changed pitch black like my flames. I destroyed everything in my path, the exorcist, demons and buildings. Everything burned black.

Mephisto had found me, next to where my familiar had been killed, with my mouth frothing with foam and my eyes wild. My flames had completely taken over me. Everything after that memory was black. I don't know how Mephisto saved me from being forever condemned to a cage, never able to return to my normal self, but somehow he did.

"Yasha." Mephisto said with a commanding voice, "Calm down." My flames had extended from my fingertips to the ground and rug around me. They were starting to spread but I didn't care.

"Don't tell me what to do! That's what you've been doing ever since we've met! And I'm tired of it!" Out of frustration I waved my arms in hard, fast motions, causing my flames to jump off of my hands and on to the furniture. Mephisto took a few steps closer to me, holding out his hands as though to grab my shoulders. "Stop!" I shoved my hands in front of me, causing flames to shoot out of my hands and land on his clothes. He frantically patted his clothing, trying to put out the flames but failed.

That's when I realized that I was hurting him. For a second I was glad, wishing for him to hurt, but then I slowly slipped out of my anger. My eyes widened in realization that I couldn't put out my flames like I thought I could before. Gripping fist fulls of my hair I sunk to the ground, starting to cry out of panic.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I repeated quickly under my breath. "I… I can't stop this! I can't stop the flames!" Mephisto lifted up my head with a finger on my chin. Shushing me, he cupped my face with his hand and locked eyes with me.

"Just calm down like I kept saying. No panic, no anger, no emotion." His forest green eyes seeming to stare into my soul. "Calm your breathing first. You're hyperventilating." I realized how fast my breathing was as he pointed it out and worked on slowing that down. Closing my eyes I visualized the flames disappearing, a trick that had worked in the past, but as soon as I opened my eyes they were still there. Panic rose up once again, making the flames come stronger. Mephisto saw how badly the flames were starting to spread and snapped his fingers, stopping all time around us. My flames still burned but nothing got harmed. "Yasha…," He wrapped an arm around my shoulder, the other one that was on my face moved to cradle the back of my head, and pulled me into his chest. "Calm down… Everything will be ok."

We sat there for what felt like hours, Mephisto cradling my head into his chest while my tears soaked the front of his shirt, putting out the flames on his chest. I had worn myself out crying and I had ran out of tears. The flames slowly started to burn out, leaving only slight burns on the rug and furniture. Mephisto patted my hair and tilted my face up to look at him.

"Feeling better?" He asked as the last of my flames flickered out. I nodded, unable to say anything for the fear of losing it once more. With a snap of his fingers Mephisto returned time to normal, not a second had passed. "That's good." He stood up, offering me a hand to help me up. "Do you need anything before you go?" Mephisto asked.

"N-no." I said, my voice slightly hoarse from the crying. "I think I'll be fi-" Before I could finish my sentence I dropped to the floor, fainting from exhaustion. The flames had taken what seemed like every ounce of energy out of me. Mephisto caught me before I fell to the ground, picking me up bridal style and carrying me out the door.

I woke up a few hours later, around ten o'clock, finding a small box of chocolates left on my bedside table from Mephisto. Chuckling, I shook my head and opened the box up. It was my favorite flavors, caramel filled, white chocolate, and milk chocolate coffee. Beneath the box Mephisto had left a little pink sticky note briefly saying how he was sorry about getting me upset and for me to enjoy the chocolates.

Finishing up the chocolates I took off my exorcists jacket and put on a crimson v-neck, black skinny jeans and black converse. It was still about an hour and a half until I was to go meet up with Amaimon so I decided to go on a walk. The night was cool and felt wonderful on my skin. The stars were twinkling and the light breeze ruffled my hair, forcing me to put it up in a high ponytail so it wouldn't blind me. There were a few students walking around, talking to others of their class, and some teachers from the school. Everything seemed peaceful, if only they knew of the demons that would flood in if it weren't for Mephisto's barrier.

I walked around the campus for about an hour and a half before I headed towards the east gate where I was to meet the person who had texted me. I arrived there five minutes early.

"Yasha?" A male voice said from the shadows. I turned, seeing a tall male with long brown hair, extending down to cover his ears and his bangs concealing most of his face. A single eye stared out, his dark brown hair making the deep purple stand out more than it already was. He wore a bandage over the left side of his face, the bandage brought up memories of the past than I had shoved to the back of my memories. He wore a white collared shirt, a black tie that seemed to be rushed on, and he held a black jacket in his hands.

"… Gin?" I said, recognizing the young man. "Is that really you!?" Running towards him I hugged him. Gin was an old friend, a demon like me, who had been injured in his left eye trying to protect me in a fight many years ago.

"Hey," Gin said, laughing slightly. "Didn't recognize my number did you?"

"No! Hahah. You haven't texted me before! That's why I didn't recognize it." Gin ruffled my hair and moved a few steps away, motioning for me to follow. "So, where are we going to meet Amaimon?" I asked, a hint of excitement in my voice.

"You'll see. I hope it's still open…" Gin trailed off his last sentence and went into thought, debating on whether or not to go into the forest surrounding true cross. Finally going into the forest we walked for what seemed like an hour, twisting and turning, making our way through the trees.

"How much farther?" I asked, getting a little impatient.

"We're close. I've been looking for markings I left in the trees." He looked back at me and smiled. "I made it a bit confusing though, so that no human would be able to keep up with it." I chuckled and continued to make my way through the underbrush. The trees started to grow closer together the closer we got towards the center of the forest. Gin quickened his pace, seeming excited. "We're almost there. Just a little bit more." Brushing past trees we ended up in a small clearing. And in the middle was Amaimon's familiar, the hobgoblin Behemoth.

"Behemoth!" I said excitedly, running up to the sleeping hobgoblin. Behemoth woke up at the mention of his name and jumped up excitedly when he saw me, a rock holding him back from jumping on me like a dog. I giggled at the site of the hobgoblin landing on it's back and rolling around, Gin did too. "What're you doing here all alone?" I asked Behemoth, rubbing him behind an ear like I would a dog. "Where's Amaimon?"

"He'll be here soon." Gin looked down at his watch. "It's almost 3 am. That's when he said that he would get here."

"Why 3 am?" I asked, confused.

"That's the hour of demons. I'm unsure as to why he chose that time specifically though." Gin sat on a rock that was close by and waited. I shook my head and shrugged, showing most of my attention to Behemoth.

"Do you know Behemoth?" I talked to him like you would an adorable puppy. He was quite adorable in my eyes, humans would run away in a second at his looks though. His pointy teeth, large front legs, and his large eyes gave off a quite menacing appearance to those who weren't used to seeing demons. Maybe the drool that was dripping from his mouth didn't help.

I heard rustling from behind me as Gin stood up. "He should be here by now, where is he?" He walked around the clearing a little, looking through the spaces in the trees for him. As he dipped into the trees and disappeared a figure jumped from the top of the trees and into the clearing. I yelped, grabbing at where I usually had a knife but it was gone, I had left it at home. Thinking fast I swung around, using my wrist as support, and kicked the persons legs out from under them quickly.

The figure let out a grunt as he fell on his side. "Yasha! It's me!"

"Amaimon!?" I crawled over to him, now seeing his features clearly. His green hair that came up into a cone and his bright blue eyes that seemed to shine in the moonlight. "Warn me next time before you do that!" I said, giggling slightly as I helped him into a sitting position.

"Well, I didn't think you would attack me." He poked me gently on the nose with his long finger nail, tickling me slightly.

I giggled, grabbing his finger and then intertwining my fingers with his. "So, why did you want to see me? Sounded fairly urgent from the text messages Gin sent."

"It is." Amaimon said, squeezing my hand lightly. "It's a message that someone wishes to relay." He looked into the forest where a wolf started to walk out of the shadows.

"A message from who?" I looked at the Wolf confused.

"From my father." Amaimon said as the Wolf became engulfed in blue flames.

The Wolf looked at me, the yellow eyes seeming to burn a hole right through me. His lips twitched, giving him the look of a maniacal smile.

"Hello Yasha."
