The Three Words That I Owe You.

Chapter 2: Helping out and realizing
The next day Timmy arrived at his workplace as per normally. But what was unusual today was that there were lots of laughter coming from the shop. Normally it would be super quiet as everyone is doing their own stuff. When he entered he saw the girl that helped him yesterday and she was gossiping with the front desks ladies. When she saw him enter, she ran up to him and smiled. "Good morning! I'm here to help as I promised. And you came at the right time. We were just talking about you," Tecna said.
"Oh hi." Timmy answered coldly. He could not understand why this girl was here. She already did more than what he expected and her presence here was awkward since they do not know each other that well. After saying that, Timmy walked past her into his personal workspace. "Ignore him Tecna, he is always like that." One of the office ladies commented thinking Tecna would feel disappointed. "Haha it's okay! I pretty much figured him out from how many words he said yesterday. And I can't possibly ignore him since I'm here to help him!" Tecna replied chirpily. The ladies burst out laughing.
Inside his room Timmy could hear laughter once again. Kind of weird to have such a noisy morning but it feels kind of good as well. Although he could not really understand what he was feeling. At this moment, Tecna popped into his room saying she wanted to help him. Already knowing that she would not let him go after rejecting her 100 times, Timmy kindly asked her to help him dismantle the computer PC thinking she would leave if she gets stuck and see herself as a burden. But once again he was wrong. She not only dismantled the PC but also discovered what was wrong with the software. Timmy was amazed by how good she was with IT stuff while Tecna could not help smirking at the dismay look on Timmy's face. She did learn a few stuff in school adding on to her intelligence.
Soon it was tea break and having nothing to do, Tecna took out the practice book to read. "Today was a sunny day. You smiled at me saying that you had a chance to talk to the senior you liked. I'm really happy for you. Since seeing you smile means a lot for me than anything else. You want me to help you write a love letter since my language was better and I did. I put all my feeling for you into the letter but I doubt you will ever read what's in my heart. A broken heart once again." Heart breaking sounds were literally heard in Tecna's ear. She could feel the pain in her heart like how the author felt. What an amazing man she thought. Someone who was so selfless for the girl he loves.
"What are you doing?" Timmy asked out of nowhere. "OMG OMG!" Tecna shouted and threw the book into air. "You scare the hell out of me!" Before Timmy could reply, he saw the book that was on the floor that looked similar. "Isn't this my math book? Why do you have it with you?" Timmy asked. "OMG this is yours?!" Tecna could not believe her ears. This was the man that she felt that she could fall in love with through the book? This one the man who was so hurt by the girl he loves? Was he still in love with her? All these questions appeared in Tecna's mind. Although she was a little in shock, she was sure about two things. One was that this was fated and second was that maybe she would fall in love with him soon.
Timmy on the other hand was not thinking about fate between him and Tecna but him, her and the book. All the memories came rushing back to him as he was trying to hold back his emotions. "Excuse me for the day", Timmy said as he pick up the book and his bag and left. "Wait!" Tecna shouted when she regain her thoughts and ran after him, but he was long gone. Tecna was convinced that this was the guy she wanted. Although it sounds kind of bratty, but she always got what she wanted and she felt that Timmy was not an exception. But she sincerely believed that he is a guy worth her time and love and that the person who gave him away is an idiot.
Ever since that day Tecna started coming to the shop everyday. Timmy once again, could not understand her. He already told her that his injury is almost fully healed and that he does not need her help anymore. But it seems like that girl did not understand. He had done all he can to chase her away but she keeps coming back and flirt at him non-stop. Even just thinking about it put chill up his arms.
Maybe he really was thinking too much until he started having a headache. This developed into a fever and soon he started seeing doubles. Tecna quickly noticed Timmy's weird behavior. He was looking rather pale and kept missing the things he reached out for. "Are you feeling unwell?" Tecna ask with concern. Timmy only nodded. Remembering the first time she saw him and his broken arm Tecna did not believe him at all. She reached out to touch his forehead and exclaimed, "You are having a fever! Let's go see the doctor now!" She drag him out of the shop and rushed to the hospital. "Why is she always doing what she likes without asking others opinion?" Timmy thought with displeasure. But Tecna did not care. She knows what she has to do and that she has to take care of him.
This illness brought the two closer together. It was the beginning of a beautiful love story but also a heartbreaking one.
