Chapter 2 "Honeymoon Delayed"

We are waiting on test results and Dr Lynns ultrasound showed a mass and she wasn't sure what it was yet. She needed to get a better picture of it. The blood work came back and Ella is pregnant. Okay now I am mad. Ana and I have lectured the children about taking precautions and we both know when it comes to my daughters I am unreasonable about them having sex before 30. But the boys I keep condoms for them to use. I know Ana buys the girls birth control and condoms as well. I just play dumb its easier than yelling.
Grace
Well now we have to wait on another test. Our big concern is shes not awake yet. The family is waiting for news and Sarah wants to be here with her.
Ana
Tell Sarah to come inside and I will go and tell the family whats going on now I say to Christian Grace. I know Christian is mad but I can't stop a grown up from having sex can I now? I hug Sarah and tell her to go see Ella. I see all our kids and our very huge family waiting on me to tell them anything. I pretty much tell them exactly what I know now. Ella is pregnant and blacked out and hasn't came to yet. Theres an unknown mass on her tummy. Its a waiting game, they are worried that shes never regained consciousness.

Ana we need a decision from you and Christian now. They need to find out what the mass is and to do it they have to terminate the pregnancy. The surgery would anyway, but this way they control the circumstance.
Ana
Christian and I agree to the procedure and our baby has lost her first child. I am so sad and so is everyone else. Christian is in the chapel crying for our lost grandchild. We hold one another and decide to cancel our trip for a while. We will attempt mini honeymoons. We both kiss and hug and wait for the surgery to be completed. It took 6 plus hours including waiting for a biopsy of the mass.

Mr and Mrs Grey we need to get your daughter to surgery we found a Teratoma and it appears to be causing some issues with Ellas blood flow. We suspect it just started and it can be the reason for her unconscious state. At least we hope thats the cause, at this point we are hoping it is. But I need your permission to operate and remove the Teratoma. We need to go now and will try to update you when we know we have it all out.
Ana
Christian and I sign all the papers they put in front of us. Hopefully we didn't sign our companies over to them. But when you see your ill child who needs surgery you tend to sign and ask later. No one takes time to read documents when its life and death they just hear this is for permission to operate. And this is for blah and this for blah blah. Just save our baby I want to scream and cry all at once. But the doctor is only human. Shes the head of surgery so hopefully she can remove whatever she said it was.
Christian
I listened carefully to the doctor and looked Teratoma up and lets hope its not cancerous. I just don't know why Ella didn't tell us she was ill. She finally told Ana she thought she was pregnant. Ana did the right thing by bringing her in, but I am shocked that the inaccuracy of some of these test. But hey it could have been a bad batch.

I know about Teratomas and what they could be and not be. Lets hope its not cancerous. It would kill us all Ella is such a great kid and was following in my foot steps to become a pediatrician. She is a combination of Ana and Christians personalities. His controlled and steady determination to succeed and Anas unconditional love for her family and friends.
The Grey family paces the waiting area all are doing something to keep their minds off the surgery taking place Ana and Christian had their Laptops and paperwork brought from work to keep their minds off their baby being opened up.
