A/N Hey everybody… (Don't shoot me!) Sorry I've taken so long on this, things just kind of gotten away from me. Plus my plot bunny bit me them ran away again. So without further ado here is the latest installment of Engaged!

OoOoOoOoO

Charlotte Warch had in no way shape or form expected a tall butler dressed all in black to come to her town house where she was spending the season with her nanny, Abigail. Charlotte rarely saw her father, Duke Warch and as a result was unaware of what was going on in his life. She simply thought that this might be a new butler that her father had acquired sent with a message for her. What a surprise she was in for indeed!

"Hello, my name is Sebastion and I come with an invitation from my Lord, to Lady Charlotte. He invites you to join him for afternoon tea at his town house tomorrow."

"Who might this Lord be? I doubt that my father would approve of me consorting with nobles below me in rank." I asked with a hint of uncertainty. After all, who knew whom this could be?

"Ah, that would be my mistake. The Earl Ciel Phantomhive extends an invitation for tea." Said the butler.

An Earl! And the Earl Phantomhive no less! I knew better to refuse an offer like that and so with that I replied, "I do accept the Earl's most gracious offer for tea."

"Thank you my Lady, I will let him know at once of your acceptance." And with that, he left the parlor to go back to his carriage.

The next day Abigail was working herself into a tizzy over what I should wear and how my hair should be done and such. I myself did not care much over these petty details. Currently we were deciding what dress I should wear.

"You should wear the blue one with the white ruffles or the light pink one with ivory lace or the yellow one with the flared skirt." Said Abigail.

"I will wear the yellow one" I decided, having not put much thought into it as yellow is my favorite color.

"Alright, then we shall curl your hair into loose ringlets around your face. Oh the yellow will make your brown hair look even prettier than it normally is!" Abigail practically squealed.

After what seemed like hours of preparation, I was ready to go to the Earl's townhouse.

Looking back on it now, if I had known what I was getting myself into, I would have slammed the door in that Butler's smirking face the moment he knocked.

So what do you all think? I know that it's a little short but I'm *just a tad bit* lazy. The sooner I get 4 reviews for this chapter then the sooner I will write the next one. By the way, this is a full page and a half word document.

Until next time,
