Rocky: And we are back. Just when you thought you were rid of us, we strike again.
Ryan: Its impossible to get rid of us. We shall always return with something new for all of you.
Rocky: Yea. What he said. So I don't think we mentioned this in last chapter, but Perry is my OC, and Chris is Ryan's. Now onward to reviews.
REVIEW
Caltrop:
Rocky: Yes we are aware of that. Cut us a bit of slack. That was the first thing we have ever written together. Now this chapter you can criticize all you want. All the same thanks for the review.
Ryan: We will get better and improve on this, and like Rocky said, it was our first joint chapter.
Rocky: Where are the rest of you peeps? I know we had alot of views, but only one review? We may just go on strike.
Ryan: Yea reviews keep us writers alive. So if you like or even if you don't like this chapter review. Negative reviews are better then no reviews.
Disclaimer:
Rocky: We are both broke. In what alternate universe do you think we might have a chance of owning pokemon?
Early the next morning Chris woke up groggily. He was still pretty exhausted and sore from the day before. As Perry was still asleep, he decided to try and stretch. He then took a look around the den.
For the most part the den was pretty empty, having only Perry's bed and a few berries in it. It wasn't too large either, it could possibly fit one more in it but it might be a bit of a squeeze.
"Hmm, not much of decorator is he," Chris mumbled quietly to himself.
As he was doing this Perry woke with a yawn. He quickly stretched his body and rubbed his eyes.
"Morning," Chris said, trying to be kind to Perry, but all he received was a middle finger salute.
"What did I do this time?" Chris asked, utterly confused.
"Just shut the fuck up," Perry grumbled sleepily, as he got out of his bed. He didn't seem happy at all about getting up at all.
"Not a morning person I presume?" Chris said.
"How many times do I have to tell you to fucking shut up," Perry replied.
"For Arceus sake just calm down I've done nothing to you. I am not the morning," he nearly yelled. He was quite annoyed at the Quilava. He definitely wasn't the morning type but that still didn't mean Chris should get the brunt of his mood.
Perry just grunted at him and grabbed a berry from his food pile, and began eating it silently.
Chris just rolled his eyes in response, and said, "Well I guess I better be going."
Perry didn't even look up from his meal, and barely nodded his head.
"Well then, see ya," Chris said, as he left the den.
Perry just nodded again, seemingly not caring about Chris leaving.
"He is very odd," Chris thought aloud as he grabbed an apple from the tree. He had no idea why Perry acted aggressively to him. He was kind of glad Perry didn't have a mate. He wouldn't want her to be treated like that in the mornings.
As he ate the apple he admired the morning. There was a cool breeze that felt pleasant in the morning sun. It wasn't hot but warm enough that the breeze felt nice and refreshing.
Unbeknownst to him, he had been spotted by a trainer, who stealthily released a Purrloin.
The trainer quietly told the feline his plan. He had no plans of missing a chance to catch an Electrike. He found it odd however that an Electrike was in Johto but he didn't dwell on that thought for long.
The Purrloin nodded its understanding, and slowly crept towards the unsespecting Chris.
She inconspicuously crept towards the oblivious Electrike. When she was a mere 10 feet away she charged out of her hiding spot towards him, catching him completely off guard. Once she was close enough she used a fury swipes, which knocked him the ground.
Chris being still slightly fatigued from the battle the day before, groaned in pain and annoyance. He wasn't in much shape to fight off anything right now.
"Dammit! Bloody trainer!" He cursed standing up to fight. He really wasn't in the mood for this right now.
"Faint Attack," called the trainer as he readied a pokéball. He hadn't noticed yet that he was standing facing the sun.
The feline then vanished, likely heading straight for Chris. Which would be extremely unsettling to say the least.
Chris panicked slightly and searched around for his attacker but it was in vain, he couldn't find her until it was too late. She appeared and attacked him which again knocked him down.
As soon as Chris hit the ground, the trainer threw a ball straight at him. Fortunately for Chris, the sun was in the trainer's eyes and the ball completely missed him. Chris quickly rose and got ready to defend himself. He wasn't about to become some trainers Pokémon easily.
"Dammit!" the douchebag trainer swore, as he moved so that he wouldn't make the same mistake again. "Alright, now use faint attack again," he said once he could see better.
Chris looked all around him, nearly panicking as the Purrloin disappeared.
Fortunately for Chris this time, she became visible a before she hit him, giving him enough to time to dodge and use spark on her, which did knock her to the ground, didn't do much damage.
"Fury Swipes," called out the trainer, getting more confident by the second.
The Purrloin wasted no time in attacking our favourite Electrike with the attack, which came pretty damn close to knocking him out.
Chris fell panting from fatigue and groaned in pain. He knew that he had lost.
Said trainer then threw a second ball at him, and this time without the sun to blind him hit Chris, pulling him inside and it hit the ground. It shook once and clicked, proving that he was now caught.
The trainer cheered happily he finally caught Chris and ran to collect the ball.
The Purrloin smiled slightly but rolled her eyes. She felt that this Electrike was too weak for the team but she didn't voice her concerns that that he would understand however.
Meanwhile from Perry's den he had heard the commotion, overcome his morning irritability, and had left his den to investigate.
When he saw what had happened, he immediately, and quite stupidly, attacked the Purrloin with an ember.
Unfortunately for him, she heard that attack coming and easily dodged.
"Holy shit! A Quilava to?" the trainer said excitedly and surprised about his luck.
"This should be an easy victory," the Purrloin said overly confident about her abilities, preparing to fight Perry.
"You sure?" Perry questioned as he sent a flamethrower.
"Yep," she replied with a mischievous grin before vanishing. A few seconds later she appeared behind him, knocking him to the ground.
He got up relatively fine, and in his standard stupid/ballsy manner said, "That all you got sweetheart?"
"Sweetheart? Aren't you flattering," she said taunting him with a sly smile.
"Yeah, yeah. Why don't you go fuck yourself, or better yet allow me," he said.
"You want that, you better get to know me first," she said as she vanished.
"No slap or angry remarks? You're my kind of girl. If I already wasn't about to lose I would let you win," he said.
She appeared and used furry swipes on him. ''I thought about it but I'm going to win so defeat will teach you,''
"Sweetheart, there is one thing you need to know. I am a stubborn son of a bitch. I don't learn much of anything," he said and got up again. Now it was his turn to attack and launched a flamethrower that barely caught her but it did cause her pain.
She flicked her tail. ''You'll learn. I'm not an easy girl to get,'' she said
Perry again sent another which she dodged this time and vanished yet again much to Perry's annoyance. He searched around much like Chris but with much less panic than Chris had.
She appeared in front of him and used a point blank fury swipes, each swipe landing a direct hit. Perry slid back and almost collapsed.
"As I said easy victory," she said as she used one last fury swipes that downed Perry and our trainer threw the ball in hand at Perry which, after shaking a bit clicked, confirming a capture.
Again the trainer cheered at his catch and picked up Perry's ball as the Purrloin headed over to her trainer with a triumphant look on her face.
Our douchebag trainer then returned her to her ball as well and started walking back towards the town to heal his new Pokémon and to get a little rest from his journey.
