I dig my hands deep into my pockets to keep out the wind. It is a futile attempt- The cold has seeped into my cheap felt coat. I trudge on, ignoring the pain from my reding ears and nose.
My bus stop is outside of the elementary school. I sit on the cold bleachers, waiting for the bus that will take me to Frances middle school. Soon, people that go to my school that I do not know nor care to know are arriving. There are seven in all.
In a few minutes the bus comes.

When I get to school, I am greeted by the large white tent covering most of it. There has been a freak infestation of brown recluse spiders. The recluse spider is the worst kind to be bitten by. The bite rots away your flesh. There is no antivenom yet. The strange thing is, it's not just spiders. Cave crickets have made a home in the bathrooms. Coaches are in the lunchroom. Termites in the gym floor. It seems that all of the school is being infested by bugs. The only spot that they seem to avoid is the top floor. The 8th grade floor, where I take my classes.
I walk inside, and I am greeted by a tall girl with brown hair and dark blue eyes.
"Hello Megan." I say. Megan is my frend of two months. When she moved here, the spiders started to show up.
Megan is in a worn leather jacket, and black jeans. She moved from Toronto, Canada. She walked up to me, and we talk as we head to excel. I think that the day will be normal. I am wrong.
