Rosario +…Ulquiorra?

By Writey the Writer

Disclaimer: I own neither Rosario + Vampire nor Bleach…because if I did I wouldn't have to go to high school now due to my having enough money to do whatever I want.

Author's Note: To those reading this 'trashy' story O' mine here's a heads up on certain things! First off, no harems…I have never been good at romance, and harems are super complicated interlocking things that I just don't even want to DEAL with. Second, I am trying to find a source for the manga but this next chapter is going to mainly exist to completely derail the events as they happen in the manga or the anime! (Hopefully I'll get the Saizo stuff out of the way along with Tsukune's angst!).

Anyway…let the chappie begin! (I'll probably have the characters do the disclaimer after next chapter...)

Chapter 2: Know your place Trash!

Tsukune Aono was having a little bit of a meltdown.

Well, not a little bit of a meltdown, rather a massive nuclear meltdown that spelled the end of his life as he knew it. Not that one could blame the academically challenged boy, he had gone from believing monsters existed only in fairy tales and bedtime stories to going to a school positively FILLED with them.

Nonetheless the only reason this meltdown hadn't happened earlier had been the initial denial that this was actually happening, he had tried to work it off as a fever dream he had due to the creepy bus driver's words and Ulquiorra's cold, terrifying demeanor. After Saizo's display of casual monstrous strength and Ulquiorra's strange ability to crush the bully into the ground without touching him…made the truth unavoidable.

Monsters were real, and he was in a school specifically for them. It certainly didn't help that killing humans that were in the school seemed like a perfectly normal thing to do based on the teacher's reaction to Saizo's comments!

Thoughts along these lines ran through Tsukune's mind as he leaned back on the wall outside of the infirmary and idly twiddled his thumbs. He had worked out what to do, he would wait to make sure Ulquiorra was fine, then he would go to the bus and leave the school, his parents wouldn't be happy but…this was insane!

As Tsukune thought over his mind melting revelations and his plans to leave the school, Moka frantically paced the hall in worry over her newest and bestest friend, Ulquiorra.

For, Moka Akashiya was a very caring person, especially to those who had been nice enough to be her friend after a long life of ridicule!

"Oh I do hope Ulquiorra is going to be fine!" Moka whisper-muttered to herself more than anything else.

"Don't worry Moka-san, he'll be fine!" Tsukune reassured, Ulquiorra seemed to tough to let a sudden panic attack keep him down!"

"I know, I know, I guess I'm just paranoid since he's my first friend ever!"

"Wait, first friend ever?" Tsukune asked, "What about in middle school and elementary? Didn't you have friends there?"

Moka's worry soon became something akin to sadness, though deep down Tsukune could spot something…hatred.

"Tsukune…I went to a human school before I came to Yokai" Moka began after a moment of silence, "The thing is…humans don't believe in vampires, I was…ridiculed…bullied…an outcast, all alone"

The usually cheerful girl smashed her fist into the wall, sending spider web likes cracks through the structure and startling her brown haired companion.

"I was different, so they picked on me!" She was on the verge of crying, "Because of that, I HATE humans, they are so despicable and evil!"

Tsukune remained quite as Moka kept on speaking.

"But when I came here, everything changed! I met Ulquiorra and you, my first friends! I am in a school filled with monsters who won't treat me like a freak for saying I'm a vampire!" Moka said with a smile, tears glistening in her eyes, "That's why I'm a bit scared whether or not Ulquiorra-san is going to be ok…"

Tsukune looked down at his feet, his eyes downcast.

"Moka-san, I'M a human"

The pink haired vampire's eyes widened in surprise and shock

"This isn't a joke is it Tsukune-san?"

"No, I truly am a HUMAN, so if you can't get over your hatred of humans then we can't be friends!" Tsukune yelled, his voice reverberating across the empty hallway, "I-I can't stay at this place anymore, I'm leaving Moka, say goodbye to Ulquiorra-san for me"

With that the only human at Yokai academy turned around and walked away, picking up his backpack and heading for the exit while his pink haired companion broke down into tears at the loss of a friend.

Meanwhile, behind the corner of the abandoned pillar, a girl named Keito smiled evilly at this interesting tidbit of information she had overheard, the Master was going to be so pleased with her! The spider monster dashed down the hallway gleefully

Ulquiorra continued to suck on his lollipop in his state of shock at Urahara's revelation.

"Ah, I'm guessing by that fish faced look on you that you're wondering why a Shinigami doesn't want a powerful ally to help stop a maniacal race of enemies from slaying his sovereign right?"

Ulquiorra could not do anything but nod at this.

"Well it's complicated, but it's for the greater good, and no, it's not for the same reason Aizen tried to kill the Soul King" Urahara explained, somewhat, "He just wanted to kill the Soul King because his ego wouldn't allow him to server and protect a glorified puppet"

Ulquiorra's eyes narrowed at this, he promptly bit down and broke the lollipop in his mouth before swallowing.

"Glorified puppet?" He asked, having gulped the pieces of the sweet.

"Ah, I can't explain everything to you can I, Ulquiorra-san?" Urahara smiled sweetly, "You can't grow unless you discover things on your own!"

"Very well, then may I ask why you are a teacher here?"

"Well, I'm not really a teacher, I am just the adult supervisor of a club, a club that you will be part of!"

The former Quatro frowned

"Do I not have a choice in the matter?"

"Nope!"

"If I am not here to help gather allies to defeat these Quincies then what am I here for Urahara?" Ulquiorra asked with a vague hint of curiosity in his words.

"No honorific Ulquiorra-san, how rude!" Urahara snickered, "But to answer your quarry, yes you are gathering allies but not to defeat the Quincy, but to deal with the threats that come after!"

"Explain Urahara"

"I'll tell you what I can at the moment, let's just say the Balance and the Soul King are just an attempt at repairing an ancient sin, but it's a shoddy work. In order for the sin to be corrected, first the half-hearted repairs must be removed and the system itself must be destroyed"

"I do not understand"

"It's understandable you don't, you do not know the whole picture, but that isn't important, what's important is that you my dear Mr. Espada, are going to have to learn to be social-able and make friends with some of the powerhouses in this school!"

The hollow in question sighed,

"At least explain to my why my hollow hole is gone then"

Kisuke Urahara, genius inventor and shop keeper extraordinaire looked up at the sky with his right hand on his chin in a contemplative manner before answering.

"I haven't the foggiest idea"

"What?"

"You heard me, I had no idea that this would happen, it's completely surprising for me to you know!"

"You are completely useless"

"Thank you! I try!"

The room was in silence before Ulquiorra asked his final question

"Is anyone else from our dimension here?"

"Nope, my partner, Yoruichi, is dealing with some stuff in a place called Kuoh Academy back in our home dimension, another piece of the puzzle in the 'big picture' or perhaps in the tiny picture"

"I see…"

Urahara jumped up and slapped Ulquiorra on the back before walking out

"You should check up on those two friends of yours, they seem really dramatic so I'm kinda worried they got into some emotion problem or something, nice job with the cute girl Ulquiorra-san! I didn't think you had it in you!"

The shopkeeper was gone before the Arrancar could retort.

"Ass" The pasty un-hollow muttered before getting up, putting his hands in his pockets and walking out to find his two newest/first friends. It was only as he left that the former subordinate of Aizen realized he should have asked which club Urahara was in supervising, though he quickly dismissed the thought. No point in caring especially since he had no choice in the matter.

As he stepped out of the infirmary he managed to see his new 'friend' ('Such a strange concept…') crying in the hallway. Ulquiorra Cifer may not be a psychologist, but he even he knew that people who are crying are either in distress or extremely happy, and that annoying 'heart' of his seemed to indicate this was the former.

"Akashiya, why are you crying?" Ulquiorra asked bluntly, despite understanding the concept of dealing with her delicately that didn't exactly mean he could do the actual deed.

"Tsukune…he…he…said"

The pink haired vampire promptly burst into tears once more and ran away balling in the most heartbreaking manner.

"Aono did this to Akashiya?" Ulquiorra wondered out loud, "In that case I should teach him how to delicately deal with others, this drama is quite bothersome"

"Indeed it is, isn't it?"

Ulquiorra turned around to see a new face enter the fray, a man with long blonde hair, pointed ears, and dot like eyebrows resting on his rather pointed face. The man in question wore a black and white uniform and an insignia on his armband which seemed to indicate him as a member of some sort of group. Most likely a high ranking member based on the way he carried himself, perhaps a superiority complex?

"And you are?"

"Straight to the point I see, very well, I am Kuyo" The blonde answered, a cocky grin on his face, "I am the Head of the Public Safety Committee here at Yokai Academy"

Ulquiorra did not like this man, he had the attitude of Nnoitra (and the hair style sense) along with the same superiority complex as Barragan, and this Kuyo was the very personification of everything the Arrancar despised in the world.

'Indeed…be careful about this one my Master, he seems quite crafty'

"I assume you want something from me, spit out instead of spewing out meaningless titles"

'Master, you did the complete opposite of what I said'

'I wish to gauge his reaction'

The Head of the Safety Committee's right eye twitched at the blatant disregard for his position, yet he managed to keep his temper in check…barely. It appeared he had some anger management issues if such a low tier insult almost cracked through his guard.

"I am here to offer you a position on the Committee, I can sense that you are suppressing a tremendous amount of your Yoki, S Class Level easily, a monster like you could go far with someone like me backing your every move"

The pale Arrancar thought about the proposition. Being a part of this Committee seemed to give him more power over others while also giving him a large pool of allies, though the strength of these allies and the likelihood of them following him rather than this Kuyo seemed rather iffy.

"I would like some time to think on this offer, this is my first day here at the Academy after all"

Kuyo nodded

"Very well, I hope to hear your answer by the end of the week, I am not a very patient man Cifer-san"

With that, the arrogant prick turned around and stalked off haughtily. Ulquiorra turned around and continued to walk in the direction that Moka had run off to, that is until he heard a very familiar voice scream, and at that point he abandoned in the pretense of calmness and promptly used sonido to arrive reach his friends.

Moka Akashiya ran through the forest in an attempt to catch her friend. She was crying and beating herself up for saying such rude and insensitive things, even though she had no way of knowing he was a human, he was still her friend, and being human didn't prevent her from caring about him.

She ran out of the vicinity of the school and into the small clearing containing the grave yard and as she was about to clear the main area of headstones she was struck by a massive tongue and into a tree.

'What was… ?'

When the pink haired school idol turned to look at her attacker she saw the monster that had hurt Tsukune before being thoroughly humiliated by Ulquiorra, despite being in his true form he was quite recognizable.

"What are you doing Saizo?!"

The monster in question laughed, licking his lips

"Isn't obvious? I'm taking you by force!"

Once he finished speaking his tongue flew out once more and smacked Moka again with enough speed for the vampire to be unable to dodge.

"No!" Moka cried, "STOP IT!"

"Hmmmm, I like it when they fight back…makes it that much hotter" Saizo said with a smirk.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!"

The vampire and the molester turned to see a familiar sight, Tsukune Aono.

"Tsu…kune?"

"The wimp?" The attacker laughed, "What are you going to do? Be my punching bag? HAHAHAHA"

"I won't let you hurt Moka-san!" The brown haired human proceeded to leap at Saizo with his fists, only to be brutally smacked down by Saizo's tongue and then beat into the ground by the monster's fists.

"DUMBY!" Saizo laughed maniacally.

"TSUKUNE!" Moka cried, her scream easily resounding through the forest and to one pale Arrancar, taking her relief from Saizo's assault to rush to her friend's aid, "Why did you come back?"

"I….realized…I was being a…really bad friend to…you and Ulquiorra-san" Tsukune gasped through the pain, "So I thought…I'd come back…and try to make it up to the two of you"

"Tsukune…" Moka cried, "I'm the one who was a bad friend to you! I was so insensitive…"

"JUST SHUT UP AND LET ME HAVE YOU WOMAN" Saizo screamed leaping forward to punch the crouching, defenseless Moka as she protected Tsukune from further damage.

The punch made contact and proceed to blow up smoke and dust blocking the sight of those there.

"Now you're MY woman, and I'll be sure to go after that pale bastard of a boyfriend after I'm done with you!"

"What do you mean my woman, trash?" A new, but familiar, voice cut in.

The dust cleared and Saizo fist had been stopped by none other than Ulquiorra, with nothing but his pointer finger.

"YOU!" Saizo screamed, half in anger, half in terror.

"Let me get one thing straight you moron, she is MY woman (Moka huffed slightly at possessiveness but couldn't help but feel jittery at her pale companion's words), and I do not appreciate the way you LOOK at my woman, the way you TALK to my woman, and most definitely not the way you tried to HURT my woman"

Ulquiorra used his hand to gently slap Saizo's own hand away, though this gentle slap caused Saizo to be flung a few feet to the side and fall down.

"Allow me to handle this Moka…" Ulquiorra stated facing his companions

"You used my first name for once…" Moka whispered. Ulquiorra didn't reply but simply turned around, as he did so his jagged sleeve caught on the Rosario and caused it to unclip and fall to the ground with a thud.

This caused both the nearly unconscious Tsukune and Ulquiorra to look at the Rosario and remember their conversation with Moka from the other day.

"Your right, this Rosario on my chest is designed to seal away the vast majority of my powers and Yoki, it also seals away my scarrrrrry vampire personality too!" Moka explained after a moment, "But once it's taken off I revert to my 'other' identity who exists as a separate being! Though I can't take the Rosario off myself, only special people can do that!"

A sudden burst of Yoki filled the air, causing the very atmosphere to crush down on both Saizo and Tsukune, knocking the latter out and crippling the former with fear just like how Ulquiorra had earlier in the day.

Both Saizo and Ulquiorra stared at Moka in fascination and fear (mainly the former felt afraid) as the previously pink haired girl was covered in bats.

A single bat came of her leg. Soon another followed, before the third one came off her face, revealing a blood red eye and silver hair that glistened as if being shown on by the moon. Ulquiorra noted that the very atmosphere turned darker, resembling the night itself much to his curiosity.

Finally, all the bats flew off Moka and revealed the most legendary of S Class Super Monsters…

The Vampire.

"I'll deal with you later" The new Moka said looking at Ulquiorra, causing him to stare at her observationally.

"S-so the legends are true…silver hair…blood red eye…that crushing Yoki!" Saizo stuttered, "A Vampire!"

"She isn't even looking at me and her Yoki is making me tremble in fear, I can't stop shaking!" Saizo laughed nervously, "Calm down Saizo, imagine all the fame you'd get if you told everyone back home you took down a vampire!"

Moka laughed at this, a far deeper voice than the previous pink haired, friendly voice Ulquiorra had associated with the vampire.

"You think you can defeat me?" She sneered, "That's a great joke, if you're so confident then do as you said earlier and come and take me by force!"

Saizo roared and launched forward with his fist…

"KNOW YOUR PLACE!"

Only to have Moka's foot smash into his head and cause him to smash through trees and stop with a crash as he hit a large rock in the woods.

Saizo lay there, barely unconscious and drooling saliva and a hint of blood from the devastating attack launched by the silver haired vampire. Nonetheless the vampire walked forward, killing intent in every step.

She stepped in front of Saizo and slammed her hand with incredibly speed with the intent to blast out the foolish monster's heart, only to be stopped by none other than Ulquiorra.

"What are you doing Moka…?"

"Isn't obvious you pasty ass bitch?" Inner Moka laughed, "He dared to threaten to lay his hand on a superior being, me a vampire, much like you are right now"

"Superior being?" Ulquiorra asked, "I see, so this is the infamous Pride of the Vampire, you truly are the Vampire side of Moka Akashiya…nonetheless I cannot allow you to kill this piece of trash"

Inner Moka stared at him blankly

"Why not, you said it yourself, he is a piece of trash"

Ulquiorra sighed

"Because even though she wasn't in control, Moka will most likely blame herself for Saizo's death, even though the world would be a better place without him, she would hate herself" Ulquiorra explained, "I can't let that happen, so bring the other Moka back or suffer the consequences"

Inner Moka frowned at this and raised her Yoki, causing the very air to tremble.

Ulquiorra simply raised his Yoki in response to hers, prompting Inner Moka to raise hers again causing the unconscious Saizo to begin to sweat under the density of the Yoki, while causing the unconscious Tsukune to wake up and start trembling.

Ulquiorra responded by raising his Yoki once more until it reached the point it surpassed Moka's and then easily doubled it, causing both the knocked out Saizo and Tsukune to have trouble breathing and causing both to sweat.

Inner Moka simply frowned as her brow furrowed in concentration

"What are you?" She demanded, "You aren't a vampire, yet you are able to keep up with me in your human form? What kind of monster exists that surpasses a vampire!"

Ulquiorra bent down in a flash picked something up and moved directly in front of Moka in a flash, showing raw speed that rivaled, if not surpassed, a werewolf.

"The worst kind" was the answer she got.

As she was about to respond she found the rosario gently attached to the chain link of her collar, and the pink haired Moka promptly returned to the world and fell into Ulquiorra's arm, asleep. With a tired sigh, Ulquiorra picked up the once again unconscious Tsukune, likely from the pain and the Yoki battle with Moka, and the sleeping vampire herself and draped them over his shoulders before walking away.

When he walked by Saizo he promptly kicked him in the one place no man should ever want to be kicked, with enough force to break the ground causing the victim of the kick to wake up and scream in such a high pitched voice that many students and teachers believed that a little girl was in danger.

'That was quite mean Master'

'He tried to hurt my woman

'Are you getting…romantically attached my Master'

'No, Muricelago, don't be ridiculous, she is my friend, MY friend, therefore she is mine not his'

'As you say, my Master'

Ulquiorra was sure he could feel his damned Zanpakuto smirking in his mind, but that was insane…wasn't it?

Urahara sat in the office that Nurari had so graciously provided him as compensation for the whole 'no payment' deal. Further sweeting the deal, his extra-dimensional associate had procured a book from another dimension called Icha Icha Paradise! Whoever this Jiraya was should be given an award!

Ginrei promptly burst into the room, quite happily having peeked into the girl's locker room to see his new adult supervisor reading what appeared to be a VERY naughty book.

Something told him they were going to be very good friends!

Meanwhile Urahara looked at Ginrei and remembered what Nurari had said about him being a werewolf and the only survivor of the previous year's Newspaper Club.

'Welp, I've already made friends with a were-CAT so a werewolf shouldn't be too hard'

"Nice to meet you Ginrei-san, my name is Kisuke Urahara, and since we're going to be working so closely together, just call me Kisuke!"

"Nice to meet you Kisuke!" Gin laughed, "Any questions for me?"

"Ah, just one"

"Ask away!"

Urahara grabbed Gin by the collar and brought him closer, his creepy smile now completely gone, and the Icha Icha book tossed to the side in the moment.

"Tell me EXACTLY what is going on between the Newspaper Club and the Public Safety Committee, and leave no details out"

Gin could do nothing but nod and gulp.

Tsukune woke up to see Moka asleep on the cot right after his and Ulquiorra sitting at the end of her cot reading a book titled Hamlet, he was pretty sure that was Shakespearean, exactly the kind of thing you would expect for him to read.

"Ulquiorra-san? Moka-san?" He whispered, it was still a bit hard to breathe after having a giant monster pound your chest with his fists.

Moka remained asleep, while Ulquiorra acknowledged his consciousness by shutting his book and turning to the young boy.

"Ah, I see you are awake Aono, we have much to talk about…" Ulquiorra replied darkly, "MUCH to talk about"

Tsukune gulped.

"First off, you made Akashiya cry, unacceptable, I expect you to apologize and make up for it as soon as possible." Ulquiorra stated, waiting till Tsukune nodded his understanding before continuing, "Second of all, you did a very stupid thing trying to fight a monster considering how weak you are with sub-par athletic abilities and average intelligence"

Tsukune deflated and mumbled a unintelligible sorry.

"But…I have only known one other brave, or stupid, enough to try and fight an opponent who completely outclassed them in every way, just to save a friend"

Tsukune lit up at the praise, though he did wonder who could have won the cold hearted Ulquiorra's respect.

"Ulquiorra there is something I need to tell-"

"If it is that you are human I already know"

Tsukune immediately shut up and watched with dread to see how Ulquiorra would react.

"While I must question what and how you managed to get enrolled in a secret school designed to teach monsters to blend in with humans, you are part of nakama therefore it does not matter if you are human, monster, or whatever else, you are still my…'friend'" Ulquiorra finished, only to see a now crying Tsukune.

"Though I would warn you to try and keep your race a secret, it would be annoying for me to have to clean up your bloody corpse after being brutally mauled to death by a mob of anti-human Yokai.

Tsukune turned pale and sweat dropped before giving a shaky thumbs up and passing out. Ulquiorra snorted, a new experience, before carefully lying next to Moka and falling asleep, in which the poor, naïve hollow believed was platonic. What he couldn't know was that said vampire was still very much awake and now was VERY pleased with herself.

But in the shadows a blue haired foe began to plot in how to get rid of the main obstacle for her massive harem.

Sosuke Aizen sat in the depths of Muken, strapped to his chair with the magical material known as duct tape. The pompous fools known as Central Forty Six had truly believed that lesser beings such as themselves could decide the fate of god such as himself? Preposterous, but for now he was content playing to the strings of a corrupt government, he could sense something coming, something ethereal and ancient, something deep inside told him that very soon he would be released…and then he could truly revel and enjoy the chaos for he was a god! No, not a god, THE God, Capital G.

The brown haired man smirked, very soon this God would be free and he would be waiting to see the progress of his little experiment, the wild card, Ichigo Kurosaki.

Though his senses also detected Ulquiorra, surprisingly enough, however faintly, and it appeared another unforeseen factor had driven itself into the megalomaniac's plans.

Nonetheless, he smirked. What was a good plan without a few hiccups? Despite it all…everything…was…going…according…to…plan! Somewhat

The guards of the legendary Maggot's Nest were said to have been scared shitless that day, for the most dangerous prisoner in the compound had begun to laugh maniacally, without a drop of sanity in his voice, or perhaps…he was terrifyingly sane.

End Chapter

Author's Note: After writing I realized that the intro was a bit too long for my tastes so expect somewhere between 5000 to 6000 words from now on, this chapter was a bit shorter since I introduced Kuyo and Ginei to a lesser extent (Omake). We finally see some changes from the main storyline since Ulquiorra's introduction, the Public Safety Committee now knows Tsukune is human, but without evidence they can't legitimately move…yet. Stay tuned!

This may combine with another 'future' fic I am planning for (HxH X Bleach) and combine into a Rosario + Vampire/Bleach/High School DxD Fanfic…possibly.

REV: Thank you Guest for correcting me! I totally missed that! (Ginrei is Byakuya's grandfather, Ginei is the werewolf!)

(This one was a little over 4,500, but the others after this will be far longer! Next update will be fore Hero X For X Fun and/or a grammar fix for this!)

Omake #2: Sorry, you reminded me of someone

Ulquiorra walked into to meet with his unfortunate overseer, Kisuke Urahara in the main meeting room for the Newspaper club.

"Ulquiorra-san, I would like for you to meet Gin! He will be your sempai in the club!"

Gin, smiled while closing his eyes and putting his hand forward.

"Nice to meet ya, Ulqui-"

Before he could finish, Ulquiorra lashed out and punched him in the face before waiting till he fell down and kicking him several times.

"STOP YOU PSYCHO" wheezed Gin as he huddled in the corner.

"Sorry, you reminded me of someone, my mistake"

"THEN WHY ARE YOU STILL HITTING ME?"

"…"

Urahara mused to himself

"Funny, Yoruichi did the same thing when she met him"

"HELP ME YOU BLONDE BASTARD!"
