Serena's POV
Even though it was really cool to see the Princess of Hoenn herself I wasn't exactly thrilled on having more competition for my showcase nor for Ash. Miette already claimed she likes him now I have to compete with May? How harder could this get. Afterwords I should go with her shopping to see what shes like. We had just arrived in the showcase hall had just splitted ways with Ash Clemont and Bonnie whe may laughed nervously
" I'm actually really nervous about this. Not sure how it even works"
she giggled and rubbed the back of her head. I was shocked at her honesty. She had traveled with Ash, no denying it, she even picked up his go-for-it attitude and straight forwardness. I explained how each round has different debuts in ho you present your pokemon.
"Sounds like contests without the battling and commands"
Serena nodded. Though part of her was worried . she wasn't Top coordinator in Hoenn and Sinnoh for nothing. She had watched how she presented her pokemon and it troubled her. May seemed to read her thoughts and smiled.
" No worries we are on equal footing here after all im just as new to this as you are. Plus when I first started contests I wasn't sure of myself versus Drew and Harley either"
Drew and Harley. May's rivals . Both of them were strong but May had beaten them both. As they went into the changing room May emerged wearing her beautiful silky dress and head piece. Her iconic contest outfit. She brought out Glaceon first. Serena couldn't help but feel jealousy and awe at the same time for May. Behind stage came out an attendant for the performance.
