CHAPTER 2
"Friends! Come look! I have found friend Raven" exclaimed Starfire as she ran into the tower, with raven trailing behind. 'Hmm brighter than I remember' thought Raven, 'I hope my room is still dark' the smell of food filled the room, but the aroma was different. "Raven, I have made some glorflak for you" Starfire said. "Joy" said Raven. "Hey Raven, welcome back, I missed you so much" said the little green one, named Beast Boy, or BB for short. "I bet you did" said Raven flatly. "BOOYA" Raven knew that was Cyborg playing his video games. "OH YEA, WELCOME BACK RAVEN" Cyborg yelled from the living room. "Thanks" yelled Raven, a slight smile on her face. It had just dawned on her that they were throwing a welcome back party. Raven groaned. "Are you ok Raven?" Robin asked. "You guys just HAD to throw a party" Raven said. "Not us, Star. She did all the decorating, and unfortunately, all the cooking" "Thanks, Star" Raven said, and she meant it. "That's what friends are for. We are friends, are we not?" "Yes, Star we are friends." Replied Raven. 'I wish we could be more though' she thought as a light bulb behind her exploded. 'Damn, I forgot about the no emotion thing' "Thanks for the party guys, but I think I'm going to get some tea, meditate, and go to bed." "Alright, goodnight Raven" replied everybody.
