It was a typical Friday morning in the middle of a summer heat wave. Jennifer was sitting in the Command Center complaining about the heat to her parents.
"Mom can't you just fix the A/C already I'm dying over here and trust me the scales under my skin isn't helping the situation," Jennifer said freaking out so bad that her hair covered her face.
"I'm trying to ok but the system isn't cooperating," Kat said aggravated. Then Jennifer's best friend Jessica storms in excitedly.
"Jenny I just figured out the problem to our heat wave," Jessica was smiling really big.
"What is it," Jennifer said getting up and walking over to her.
"Well how it so hot instead of sitting around we could just go and sit in the SPD freezer," Jessica said proudly.
"We can't sit in the SPD freezer, my dad says that we need to keep it could in there and any exposure to heat might defrost it and cause everything in there to melt," Jennifer looked at Jessica and a serious expression on her face.
"What we can't do anything," Jessica said sitting next to Jennifer.
"Pretty much," Jenifer sound really annoyed. Then Commander Cruger walks into the Command Center with Kyle Tate trailing behind him asking about the possibility of his squad taking the test to move up in their ranking.
"Cadet I don't think your Squad is ready for the responsibility of becoming C-squad," Cruger turned quickly to face Kyle. Then Jennifer snickered and said.
"Really dad I have never heard you say that to any other squad but us," Jennifer got up and crossed her arms.
"Well you guys aren't ready that other were," Cruger said.
"Yeah ok sure or maybe your just scared to send us out because you don't want us getting hurt," Jennifer smirked.
"Ok fine you guys want to take the test ok Tomorrow 5:00 be at the training hall," Cruger said giving up.
"Yay thanks daddy," Jennifer said hugging Cruger after hugging him she ran out with Jessica and Kyle to tell the rest of the group. They ran to the groups hang out (which is basically like the B-squad hang out room only has more games and nobody but them is allowed in it) and told everybody else about it.
"Are you serious you got Cruger to agree to let us take the test to move up wow," Leah sounded so shocked
"This is going to be awesome guys but we better not mess up we need to be on point or else we won't be able to move up," Chris stated while he threw a baseball off the wall.
"Exactly which is why we start practice now come on guys," Jennifer said while dragging everybody out of the room and into the training hall.
