"Young won't like it."

"I don't care what he thinks." Rush snapped. Dr. Perry frowned at this. "Well, he is in charge.."

Rush grimaced. "He is not in control of my life. I do what I want to when I want to. There's not a bloody thing he can do about this."

"He cares about the safety of the population!"

"So do I!"

They were silent for a time.

"I just want you to get what you deserve."

"I know."

She reached out to touch his face, but her finger could not feel his skin.

"I love you."

"I know."

Rush finally came out of the "Equation room" as they had dubbed it, after studying his usless gibberish, numbers and letters scattered across the wall nothing telling he what he needed to know. The only useful thing he had learned was from Mandy, who was technically a ghost.

Oh God, he was talking to ghosts.

He really needed to get some sleep.

He was starting to go insane.

But, Mandy suggested something he would have never thought of before.

However, he wasan't sure he could even create what she had told him.

He needed Eli.

Dammit.
