This story takes place when Lara was only five years old and to the year she has to find a artefact in the present time, when she and a certain warrior needs to save the world from the supernatural.

I am not English, it's not my main Language and I apologize for any bad spelling...

Chapter 2: Second discovery

Lara was seven years old, she and her parents was in India for the holidays. Her father had to work again in the jungles. So this time they had to go live in the village that was near the jungle. Her mother took this as her chance to enjoy the sunshine and relax but oh Lara, she was her father's daughter, no doubt.

Later that day her father was getting ready for the trip into the jungle, he had told Lara that this time she couldn't came with, but she didn't listen to him. Before he started the engine of the car, Lara had snack on board and covered herself under some blankets and bags. Then when the engine came to life and the car started moving, she smiled to herself and soon she fell asleep.

An hour later, Lara woke up from gunshot that was going off in the distance. She got out of the car and found herself at a staircase that led up to the temple in front of her. The gunshots came from the jungle and not inside the temple, so she runs up the stairs and into the temple for safety.

She quickly found herself climbing high and crawling under some rocks but soon she found herself in a large room. She looked at the amazement of the place; it looked beautiful with its marble floor and stone statues. For it was amazing, she walked closer to something at the far end, something that was glowing. As she walked her fingers was playing with the green gem necklace around her neck.

When she got to the end she gasped at what she saw. It's small but it looked like a person with wings. She looked closer and the little fairy turned and looked at Lara in fear. "Hi" Lara said

"Hi" she answered back but looked around for an escape route.

"I'm Lara what is your name." Lara asked but she could see that the fairy was scared. "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you."

The fairy swallowed hard "I'm Amanda, the fairy of truths and wisdom but also of darkness."

"Why darkness?" Lara asked

"Because I can see bad things happening to good people and I'll keep quiet about it."

"Why?" Lara asked siting down her legs where tired.

"I don't know, the only way I tell the truth is when someone asks me"

"What will my future hold for me?" Lara asked getting up

"Lara, you have a future of happiness but there will be sadness and pain. Darkness will haunt you and hurt will be felt by your heart. "She said and held out a crystal shaped fairy. "This holds the power to help you grow stronger every day, there's a war that awaits you dear one and it has started already awaiting the mighty warrior to rise and that will be you one day."

"Me, why me?" Lara asked.

"You've been chosen to fight amongst the Light of Truth to save this cursed world from the fallen once" Amanda swallowed "I said to must you must go and remember the crystal." The fairy said flying away.

Lara stood there mouth open looking at how she flow away and when she was gone, Lara looked around to see pictures but before she could look at them she heard a voice behind her, she quickly hide the crystal in her pocket and turned around.

"Lara!" Her father said again

"Father, I'm sorry." She said hugging him.

"My girl you shouldn't be sneaking onto my bout like that, if something would have happened to you your mother would never forgive me." He said letting her go and he looked at the pictures now.

"Lara do you know what you have found?" he asked

"NO" Lara said

"You found the lost temple of one of the warriors who build it. They believed that one day they would find the mighty one. The one who will lead them into the great war." Her father said looking at one of the pictures it showed a woman with a sword holding it high in the sky looking at the skies. The skies open and a light fell on her.

"That the mighty warrior?" Lara asked looking at the pictures

"Yes it is and it says hear that the time will come when the girl starts finding artifacts that would give her power to fight. I can't believe it"

"What is it daddy?" Lara asked

"Nothing Lara, let's get you out of here." Her father said taking her hand and making her go with him back to the bout.
