Pain was strolling into the kitchen leisurely when he froze in his tracks.

Tobi was humming a joyful tune as he snapped colorful buttons on the fridge.

Pain's hand gripped the doorframe of the kitchen door in panic, his knuckles turning white.

"Hmm?" Tobi turned around, then waved at Pain enthusiastically. "Mister Pain! Can I help you with anyth-?"

"Tobi." Pain cut into Tobi's joyful voice with his low growl.

"Yes Mister Pain?" Tobi whimpered, thoroughly scared of the intimidating figure lurking at the doorway.

"What. Is. That?" Pain practically spat, indicating the colourful botton magnets on the fridge.

"Oh!" Tobi's voice brightened, then picked a red one off the fridge, showing it to Pain. "They're to make the fridge prettier!"

Pain had to force his heartbeat to slow down and his voice to remain disdainful.

"Our fridge does not need to be prettier. Throw them out."

"B-but..." Tobi's voice held disappointment as he looked at the magnets, then back at Pain.

"Throw them out, NOW!" Pain's voice rose as he felt the slight tugging at his nose.

Tobi jumped and grabbed all the magnets, discarding them down the rubbish chute, then scrambled out of the kitchen.

Pain sighed with relief. Tobi almost discovered his secret.

He was afraid of magnets.
