Enjoy the little things in life...for on day you'll look back and realize they were the big things
Tobias sat on is plain Abnegation bed. He had just took his attitude test. Abnegation and Dauntless. Divergent. Although that wasn't what he was worried about. Beatrice left early, Beatrice is nowhere to be found, Beatrice must be in trouble, was all Tobias could think about. What happened after her attribute test? Did her father find her results? No, Tobias though, that couldn't have happened, how could he?
Over the past few years the two became closer than they ever could've imagined. They did everything together, from walking to school to cleaning each other backs (which was so much easier). Beatrice was the only family that Tobias had, she's the only person that he truly cared about and if something happened to her, he would never forgive himself.
"Tip-it-tee-tap" Tobias's head shot up. There was Beatrice standing outside his window. Tobias ran to the window seal, unlock it, and slid it open. Beatrice crawled in, her long blond hair sliding over her shoulders.
"Hey," Beatrice said.
"Where have you been?" Tobias asked.
"Just…thinking," Beatrice said. Tobias nodded.
"Tobias," Beatrice said, "We have to get out of here,"
"I-I know," Tobias said, lying down on his bed, Beatrice lied next to him, her head on his shoulder.
"Where do you want to go?" Tobias asked.
"I don't know, you chose," Beatrice said.
"Dauntless?" Tobias said.
"Yeah, okay," Beatrice said.
For the rest of the night they laid on Tobias's bed and talking about nothing. Talked about what dauntless was going to be like. Talked about how nice was going to be to get away from their fathers. How nice it was going to be to be free. Free from everything.
"An-any way," Beatrice said, "When we transfer what name are you going to go by?"
"I don't know, "Tobias said, "You?"
"I was thinking about Tris,"
"Tris…I like it,"
