Hello loves, I want to make it known that I wrote these stories back when I first became a writer, so I was still learning. I wasn't great at grammar, and perhaps my spelling was off. I was new, like many other writers on here. So yes there are gaps in the story that don't always make sense, and I made some characters different than how they were in the book but this was the very first fanfiction I ever wrote. I had planned on going back to edit this story and its sequels to make them better but I am not sure I want to if people are going to continue to leave comments hating on them. The point in fanfiction is for the author to be able to take a story they like and create a different version of it, this was my version and so maybe I felt Caleb needed to be evil, and yes I named some of the characters silly things but I was 13 when I started writing this story, I was new and I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. I was proud of this story and it would be great if people would realize that not everybody is perfect, and that practice makes you better. So to all the new writers out there, keep on pushing through loves, don't give up because someone says you have a spelling mistake, or that you should have done it a different way. Learn from those comments instead of letting it destroy you. To the people making comments about how much someone's story sucks, why are you wasting your time commenting and hating on their story? If you don't like it, don't read it. I love all of the people who enjoy this story and I welcome criticism leave your opinion, but remember you don't have to be rude about it because this was the work of a 13 year old girl who was very proud of herself for actually posting her work for people to read. If anyone needs help writing or would like to discuss things with me, feel free to PM me.
Sincerely,
The girl who almost gave up writing because people can't understand what it is to learn.
(P.S. I am 17 years old almost 18 now, so yes tell me I don't know that my grammar was awful or that my spelling sucked. I know it did, but my point is that people learn from mistakes and practice and get better at it, so let them instead of dragging them down, offer kind words of advice instead of rude words that make people want to stop what they love to do)
