Piper stood open mouthed and stared at her sister, who returned from the dead for a second time. "No 'Thanks Paige. I really appreciate you taking it upon yourself to fix the Power of Three'?" Paige asked, rhetorically.
"This is bad. This is so bad. Prue's back for the second time. I swear this is so horrible." Leo started panicking. Piper grabbed his shirt and pulled him close to her.
"Leo, relax." Prue said, "I did this to restore the Power of Three. I wanted to return, mostly to warn you."
"Warn us?" Paige asked, "About what?"
"Zankou's planning an all-out attack on us. This is the big one and we need to get ready. Let me teach you guys how to astral project." Prue tried to bring out her astral projection. She was out for half a second and then went back inside of Prue. Prue started to fall to the ground, when Piper caught her.
"Prue, what's wrong?" Piper asked.
"She's still weak. She was back for three months before she came to us. No offense, but maybe she should just disappear and lay low for a while." Leo said.
"No." Prue said, trying to get up. "Zankou saw that Phoebe died, but he doesn't know I'm here yet. He might be planning the attack now for all we know. You guys need to be ready."
"Well, you need to rest." Paige said, "Go to sleep, build up your energy. Besides Leo already taught us how to astral project."
"Thanks Paige, maybe I do need some rest. I am a little winded from my second trip. Coming back from the Angel of Death is never a good experience." Paige leads Prue to the late Phoebe Halliwell's room. Prue lie on the bed and within minutes, was fast asleep. Paige walks back into the living room and Piper asked her, "What were you thinking? Prue's return is going to cost us dearly, remember, she has your powers."
"Relax, I'm sure that everything's going to work out for the better. The Power of Three is restored and we'll start preparing for Zankou's attack when Prue wakes up, which won't be for a few hours by the looks of it. I'll go get Wyatt from the bridge." Paige orbs out of the manor.
Piper looks at her husband, clearly annoyed. Leo walked over to Piper and began rocking her from side to side. "Relax Piper, I'm sure everything will work out. Maybe Phoebe's passed on her powers to Prue." Leo said to his wife.
"Yeah, I hope so." Piper answered back.
Paige just orbed to the San Fransisco bridge and saw Wyatt looking out at the water. "Hey, Wyatt." Paige said to her nephew.
"Go away!" Wyatt demanded of his aunt.
"I know what you're going through. On the bright side, Prue's back."
"But Phoebe's gone." Wyatt said. Paige walked and sat down next to Wyatt, watching the sunset. A silence fell upon the two.
"How's mom holding up?" Wyatt asked suddenly.
"She stopped worrying about Phoebe, but she's panicking about how the Power of Three is broken again."
"It can't be because there's only three Charmed Ones."
"You know how Piper can get though, she panics at any chance. Maybe the fact that Chris..." Paige trailed off, not continuing her sentence. She knew not to press the issue of Chris getting abducted fighting Christy, everyone did. Wyatt and Billie went out, since the Charmed Ones were dealing with the four elements. Four against three, you'd think those were good odds, but against the elements? The sister's had to become goddesses again and that nearly made them slip. Luckily, Prue's spirit used a spell in the Book: Remember.
Anywho... Wyatt and Billie barely made it out alive and Christy was gone, but all that happened at the cost of Chris' life. He tried to create his Astral projection in time, but couldn't. The explosion destroyed the Triad's lair, where Christy's homebase was. Wyatt's been blaming himself for the past year since Chris' sacrifice. They've been searching for Chris, but could never find him. Wyatt continued searching after 5 months, when everyone gave up. Eventually, he just had to call it quits and accept the fact.
The sun set and night fell. Paige turned to Wyatt, who was looking absently out at the water. "You wanna go home tonight or do you wanna stay with me? You know I still have that condo in Beverly Hills."
"I'll stay with you. I don't know if I'm going to return home for a while." Wyatt orbed out and Paige followed.
Back at the manor, Prue yawned and stretched, while coming out of Phoebe's old room. She looked around the living room and saw that Paige wasn't there. "Where's Paige?" The Halliwell asked.
"She went to go get Wyatt, but she's been gone for hours." Piper said, starting to freak out; clearly evident by the vase that just exploded.
"Calm down." Leo said, "Wyatt's probably just staying with Paige for a while."
"Well, until Paige gets back, why don't we try preparing for Zankou's attack?" Prue suggested. Two Darklighters instantly black orbed in and held their crossbows up to the three. They got at attention and readied themselves for battle. Prue tried to move the table towards a Darklighter with her telekinesis, but it wouldn't move. Prue looked at her hands, shocked. "Why isn't my telekinesis working?"
"Prue, get out of the way!" Piper pushed her sister out of the way and used her molecular combustion to blow up a Darklighter. The other Darklighter black orbed out, as the two sisters stood.
"What's wrong Prue?" Leo asked.
"My powers aren't working." Answered the Super Witch.
"I wonder what it could be." The Avatars faded in. "Why aren't my powers working?" Prue asked them, stepping forward. "I've rebuilt the Power of Three."
"You've left the Nexus and all of your powers along with it."The female Avatar said calmly.
"Well how do we get her powers back?" Leo asked.
"She needs to go back to the Nexus."
"No way, I can't go back!" Prue said, "I just rebuilt the Power of Three. Phoebe's gone and there's no way I can go back. Can't you guys just grant me my powers again? I know you can." The Alpha Avatar shook his head. "No, it would mess up the Grand Design."
"You know your main concern is creating Utopia. The Angels of Destiny deal with the Grand Design, which is already wrecked, I might add. So grant me my powers again so I can help my sisters stop Zankou for good."
"It'll take a while for the powers to settle inside you, so you're going to need to rest. Just know that we're only doing this once, so don't get into any trouble." The Avatars all joined hands, mumbled something in Latin and Prue got a sudden surge of energy, feeling empowered.
