Chapter 2: She fell from the Sky... OPPAI!

"It's almost time. We will be late!"

"We will make it. Do not worry."

"Wait! There's smoke at the area!"

"Other people…"

"What shall we do?"

"Get rid of them of course. We can't allow other witnesses."

The small fire was enough to warm his companion and to heat up the coffee. Gray didn't need to warm up, he is an ice mage after all but they do need the coffee to keep them up all night. It was 11:15pm. And the crazy woman said at 12mid night they will start observing the full moon up above for any changes. If there will be any. So far everything went smoothly, except for the crazy woman's nonstop talking.

Crack

What was that? He snapped his head at the sound. But he couldn't sense anything. Was it an animal?

"Abs-kun why don't you sit down and rest?" Dr. Gail offered him a cup of coffee. "We will be up until dawn might as well rest a little until we start." She grinned and gave him a funny look.

"Don't make sound like something else!" Gray sat down took the cup and sipped. His senses were still up and continued to monitor their surroundings. He had a feeling they were being watched. 'How many? 1 or 2. I can handle that.' Bandits perhaps or dark mages at worst.

They're near. He stood up.

"Abs-ku-"

"Stay where you are. Don't move… Ice Make: SHIELD!" A shield of ice blocked five spears that almost hit them. As soon as the spears collided with Gray's shield it shattered into tiny bits. "Mages." He said out loud.

"And so are you." A voice said at the top of the tower. Gray could only see his silhouette against the light of the moon. The man had shoulder length hair and what looked like a huge glove on his right hand. 'Just one? No-' "Ice Make: SWORD!" He sliced a big ball of metal that almost hit Dr. Gail's head. It too shattered into small pieces. There at the edge of the shrubs and trees stood a tall fat bald man with two huge gloves on both hands.

"Wahhhhh!" Dr. Gail dropped down the ground and accidentally threw her coffee at the fire. Now the full moon is the only thing giving them light. "Just stay down and don't move." Gray said aloud.

"Tsk. Pentil get down here and let's finish them!" The fat bald guy called out to his comrade. "We don't have enough time." The man named Pentil jumped off the tower and landed near the fat guy. "I know that Timu." Said Pentil the bald man.

"Just our luck we ran into a mage." Pentil grined. "But bad luck for him he ran into us. Metal Spear Rain!" He lifted his gloved hand and all small scraps of metal near him formed into hundreds of spears.

"Metal Mass Attack!" Timu lifted his own two gloved hands and scraps of metal in his surroundings formed into many balls of metal. "A weak mage like you can't possibly dodge these." Said Timu with a wicked grin on his face.

"DIE!" Balls and spears of metal headed straight at them. "Gray-san!" Dr. Gail screamed in terror.

"ICE MAKE: SHIELD DOME!" A dome of ice surrounded Gray and the Dr. The spears and balls could only chip off small bits of ice but can barely do anything more.

"What the hell? This guy is stronger than we thought." Said Pentil. "Don't stop attacking! We must kill them before 12 mid night, we have to finish the mission given to us!" Said Timu as he lifted his hands higher and more and more pieces of metal gathered and formed into balls. "Right!" Pentil did the same as his spears doubled in number. In the onslaught the dome started to crack.

"Damn." Cursed Gray. He had to do something to defeat these guys but he can't move closer to them because of the rain of metals. As he had observed their magic is to absorb the metals around them and use it to form their weapons. If he could only prevent them from getting in contact with any metal he can defeat them.

"Oh no! Gray-san the tower!" He looked up to where Dr. Gail was pointing. The tower of mirrors was started to collapse. The metal within it was being absorbed by the enemies rendering it weak in structure. "It might fall!"

"What?!" Screamed Timu. And both suddenly stopped attacking.

'That's weird. Why did they stop? Now is my chance!' In a split second Gray made his move. "ICE MAKE: ICE BOX!"

"What's going on?!" Pentil shouted as he and Timu were now inside a box of ice. "Do you think this thin sheet of ice can stop us?" Timu said laughingly. He lifted his hands but nothing happened. "What the?" Pentil did the same but nothing happened as well. Why can't they use their magic?

"As long as you can't be in contact with metal you can't make any metal weapons."

Both mages looked at the raven haired mage going nearer to them. "Who are you?" Asked Timu. Anger was written all over his face.

"I should be the one asking that." Gray stood near the two boxed men. Dr. Gail on the other hand ran towards the tower to check for any more casualties. "I'll be back in a bit.. the tower the tower the poor tower!" and poof she went. The boxed men's look went to the tower. They too were worried about it as Gray had observed. Who were these guys and why did they care about the tower as well. Did they also come here to kill Dr. Gail? Steal something from the tower?

"Hey you." Gray mentioned to the bald guy named Timu. "You said something about finishing your mission before 12mind night. What's that about? Who ordered you here?" If they had to finish it before 12midnight it meant that they were after the same thing. But why?

"I am not obligated to tell you anything." Timu's scrawl deepened as he stared hard at Gray. "PENTIL! NOW!"

"What-!"

"METAL GLOVE!" Timu and Pentil shouted at the same time. The gloves on their hands turned to metal and before Gray could react they punch the ice caging them. It broke into pieces and in a split second the two mages proceed to attack Gray.

"You're finished!"

"DIE!"

But then.. "THE TOWER IS GOING TO FALL!" All eyes were on the one who shouted. Dr. Gail stood near the tower and true enough it was crumbling. The two mages stopped their attacks. This gave Gray the opportunity.

He positioned himself and then. "ICE GEYSER!" A huge whirlwind of Ice came down on Timu and Pentil and the two flew at a far distance to who knows where. So much for finding out who sent those two and what was it they were after. "Gray help! The tower! The moon!"

"Oh shit." He cursed and ran towards the screaming, panicking Dr. Gail. "Get out of there!"

"No do something! It's almost 12, we can't miss this opportunity!" She begged. Her dream cannot crumble along with the tower.

"Damn!" He cursed again. 'Think Gray think!' He had to find a way to stop the tower from falling. Then it hit him. He ran towards the tower.

"Gray what are you doing?" Dr. Gail asked, petrified that the ice mage was running right at the almost collapsing building.

"Stay far away." He ordered while he placed his two hands on foot of the tower. "I hope this works." He said as he concentrated all of his magic to flow into the tower. "CRYSTALIZE!" from his hands the tower began to freeze until all of it was completely frozen.

"Abs-kun that was amazing!" Dr. Gail ran towards the half-naked mage in delight. But in her hurry she tripped and hit her head on a loose rock.

"Hey are you ok?" Gray ran to where the fallen woman was lying and checked if she was injured.

'zzzzzz….'

She was sleeping soundly and was already snoring. He sweat dropped. So much for his worrying. He laid her near the campsite. While he did so the moon up above finally aligned with the tower. He looked up and saw the light hitting the mirrors inside it. The final mirror, the one reflecting the light to the pool showed him the vision of the moon.

"Wait! Isn't that-!" To his amazement the moon wasn't the dead color of gray turned blue and then a reflection of silver. The tower being all frozen even the ice blocked the windows. The moons beams passing the ice gave it a silver glow. 'Is this what that crazy woman was talking about?'

"Hey wake up! The moon turned silver! Dr.-"but before he could wake her up the reflection of the moon on the water shined so bright he couldn't see anything. When he finally opened his eyes there was a beamed of light coming from the water and headed straight at the sky. He was amazed at what he was seeing. He didn't even think of waking up the Dr. Gail anymore. He just stood there and waited for what was going to happen next. Then the beam vanished but up in the sky there was an enormous dark hole.

"A hole?" Gray stared at it for a while. When suddenly a huge metallic pole came crashing down from it. He could all but cover his head and upon seeing that the hole in the sky was seemingly producing more gigantic poles he quickly made an ice shield to protect him and the sleeping woman behind him from any debris. "Just what the hell is going on?!" he screamed as more and more poles came pouring from the black hole. Finally after a minute the hole stopped raining poles. Gray thought it was over and made his ice shield vanish… then BOOM!

It was like a huge meteorite had hit the pond and blew Gray and Dr. Gail(who didn't even wake up) away a few meters. The ice mage slowly stood up and upon seeing that the Doctor was ok. He lifted the doctor and placed her at a good distance from the hole up in the sky. Then he made his way to what now look like a creator to where the pond used to be.

As he came closer to the smoking creator he looked down. "No way…" Down below the middle of the area of impact laid an unconscious girl with skin white as snow and wavy blue hair. She was wearing something like a short blue skirt and a very revealing blue tank top with a collar and showed her mid drift. Her top showed she was very blessed. Not that he was being perverted or anything. It was just something he noticed.

She was beautiful, Gray thought. But what was striking was that she had WINGS! Yes wings. Like the Exceeds she had pinkish wings in her back. On her neck was a collar and a broken chain much like that you'd see on a pet dog. Was she someone's pet? A slave perhaps?

Now wasn't the time to think of that. He had to go down and check if she was ok. Gray jumped down the crater and slowly went near the unconscious girl. Even though he wanted to help her, he still wasn't sure if she was an enemy or not. Upon closer look he was surprised to see she had no cuts or bruises. Her skin was dirty from the impact but there was no sign of injury on her what so ever. How strange. "What are you?" He asked even though he knew she was unconscious to answer.

'I still have to help her though.' Gray slowly lifted the girl on his shoulder, being careful not to worsen some unseen injury. He decided to place her somewhere Doctor Gail can properly examine her. Perhaps the doctor may know something and heal her as well. He was about to climb up the creator when a cracking sound was heard and from the spot where the girl once laid a bigger pole fell impaling the ground and missing them by a meter. To Gray's horror more poles were falling once again. Bigger this time. He hurried up the crater. He had to get out of there fast. Somewhere the poles wont not hit them. As he finally got out of there, looking up seeing a huge pole about to hit them directly. He had no time to react to make his ice shield. No way. Was he going to die with a beautiful winged girl on his shoulder?

A flash of colorful light. A gush of strong wind. Feathers blinded he sight. And before he knew it he was up in the sky with no idea how he got there. Feathers... there were pinkish feathers in the air He realized someone was holdingg his chest. That someone was responsible why he was up above. Looking up he saw deep dark blue eyes staring at him. Soft yet expressionless eyes. Wavy blue hair framing a beautiful face. And wings spread open behind her back. She was majestic. She was the most beautiful thing Gray had ever seen. And for a moment he didn't even wonder what his situation was. He was just mesmerized.

"Begin imprinting."

What? Did she just said something?

The broken chain on the collar of her neck began to materialized and became longer and longer until it wrapped around his right hand. Gray stared at his right hand, his mouth agape at what he saw. Slowly they both landed on the ground a short distance from the sight. The girl bowed down in front of him. "oi what are you-" He began.

"Nice to meet you. Juvia is a Pet-Class Angeliod." She said in a soft expressionless voice. She looked up at him. "Juvia is here to fulfill your every desire… my Master."

"ah…" He stared at her.

"WHAAATTT?!" and screamed. Yes, Gray Fullbuster had screamed.
