Selene walked into Eve's room and sighed, the twelve-year-old looked at her mother curious.
"Eve, I know you resent me_" Selene started but the girl cut her off.
"No mother, I don't resent you at all, it's not your fault you and daddy couldn't raise me for the first years, it was Antigens". Eve explained.
"I just wish that I could've raised you, your father wishes that too, we love you, you know that right?" The vampiress asked.
Eve nodded, "Yeah, and I love you guys too, mum, I bought this for you, to say thanks for saving me". Eve said and handed Selene a necklace, it was a reddish blue gem on a gold chain.
"Thank you Eve, I love it, now I need to go, goodnight and sweet dreams" Selene said and kissed the young hybrid good night.
