She's sleeping.
Laying on her back, eyes closed, steady breathing, and the most beautiful look of contentment on her face.
My heart swells with pride knowing I did that, I am the cause of her happiness.
I watch her silently, my left arm draped across her waist, I softly brush my lips against hers. She opens her eyes and smiles at me, I grin back.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you" I say brushing her hair from her beautiful face.
"You didn't" she smiles
I stare at her in wonder, she is the most beautiful creature I have ever seen and I just want to watch her.
"What?" she asks laughing softly
"Nothing" I say with a shake of my head "I love you, that's all"
"I love you more" she smiles, turning on her side and snuggling into my chest, falling asleep once more.
