I apologize for not doing this last time but I do not own Harry Potter nor will I ever.

J. K. Rowling owns everything that is mentioned in the books. I just own the random characters and places not previously mentioned.

ENJOY!

10:23 pm, 31 October 1981: Buckingham Palace

Two years had passed since the birth of Scarlette de la Faye, and through that time Lord Voldemort had rampaged across Wizarding Britain. Pureblood families were becoming even more scarce since Grindelwald. Many of the muggles had spotted his Death Eater as the growing terror arose. Prime Minister de la Faye sat in the company of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second as the rest of the country celebrated Halloween.

"Your Majesty," the Royal Wizard bowed as he came through the door, "I have some urgent news."

"You may speak," she answered.

"News has arrived that the terrorist Lord Voldemort has been defeated," he announced, "the Wizarding community is out celebrating. Apparently a child no older than 15 months has vanquished him."

The Queen and Prime Minister sat stunned by the news. The Queen was the first to break the silence. "What does the child's parents say to this?"

"No one knows, madam. It is rumored that they perished in the fight before their son finished it"

"And the child? What of him?" questioned Prime Minister de la Faye.

"No one knows except the fact that Chief Warlock Albus Dumbledore has taken the child from the wreckage. No one knows where he has taken the child."

Queen Elizabeth and Prime Minister de la Faye contemplated the news the Chief Wizard bestowed upon them.

01:00 am, 1 November 1981; Hogwarts Headmaster's Office

A powerful man sat comfortably in his office planning out his next chess pieces' moves. Who would be the next to brought down? Immediately Sirius Black came to mind. Checking the instrument he had connected to Black, which acted close to the Imperius curse, he sent out the message for Black to use the sadness and anger over the Potters' death to catch and kill Peter Pettigrew. If Black can kill Peter, I can tell all that Black was the Secret Keeper for the Potters and get him put away. He'll then be out of the way for the Potter child to grow up broken down and malleable. Chuckling he serenely sat and pulled out fruit. It was soaked in a clear liquid. Feeding it to the baby pheonix that recently had a burning day, insuring that the phoenix stayed in his control. A knock interrupted his thoughts, he hid the fruit before using his glasses to see through the door. "Please come in, Poppy"

"Albus, I wanted to let you know that I healed Harry up the best I can but I cannot seem to heal his scar. It would be best if you let a healer from St. Mungo's take a look at it," she spoke worriedly.

"Nonsense, Poppy," he smiled at her in fake kindness. Silently casting an Obliviate on Madam Pomphrey, he said, "I have taken young Harry to St. Mungo's already and nothing could be done about his scar."

When he finished, Madam Pomphrey's eyes cleared up. "Would you like for me to bring Harry up here?"

"That would not be necessary, my dear woman. Hagrid will be taking the child to his new home shortly. I will come down soon though to insure that everything is fine." Nodding her head at the dismissal, Poppy left, and Albus began planning on how he can make everyone forget where Harry would be placed.

Same time, 1 November 1981: Hidden part of Hogwarts Castle

"What is he thinking?!" a woman of extreme intelligence cried out in frustration. Her bronze hair flying with magical energy.

Green eyes glinted in the darkness under black hair. With a sneer upon his face, the man spoke, "He is thinking that through playing life as if it was just a game there would be nothing he cannot control. Admittedly, he reminds me of my second son Frimor's heir. What was his name? "

"Tom Marvolo Riddle, my dear friend," answered a well built man with hair as red as fire.

"Oh dear, I cannot wait till our heiress comes to set this castle to straights. So many parts have been closed due to the manipulation and tyranny of those in charge. Hmph!" a tall woman of kind disposition spoke out. How she despised disloyalty. The others agreed and waited for the one who bore the blood of them all to take control, and in turn gather the other heirs and heiresses together.
