Author's Note: This chapter is another poem to go with the first, this one in Sesshomaru's point of view. I came up with this one a few nights ago and since Opposites Attract was my poem on another account, I decided to put the two poems in one 'story' of sorts. Hope you like it.
Disclaimer: As I forgot to mention in the previous chapter, I own nothing except the poems. They are my own but the characters, Sesshomaru and Kagome are from Inuyasha which was written by Rumiko Takahashi which most of you already know that :)
Denial
Do we attract?
I doubt that.
We are enemies,
That's the fact.
I enjoy power,
You supply none of that.
My father left my mother,
For a human like yourself.
Thus resulting in my brother,
A half breed I despise.
I am a demon lord,
Feared by many both,
Demons and humans alike.
But yet I have a child,
Following me around.
We can not be together,
You are with my brother.
Though I can not deny,
You are stronger than most humans,
And you have indeed caught my eye.
Still I won't admit it,
I will not take the chance.
To let my heart grow weak,
Like my father's in the past.
