Author's Notes

I hope you people enjoyed my very small prologue, but here is the actual Chapter 1 enjoy.

Chapter 1

I remember the day, as clear as the Ryyukashi Lake. I was chopping down a tree when I heard some screaming off in the distance. I quickly lifted my sword out of its sheave, and instinctively ran in the direction of the screaming. I should have gone in the other direction, but I was foolhardy.

I ran out into a medium sized clearing expecting zombies, skeletons, or maybe even Pvpers. Yet at the end of the clearing there was a girl. This girl was a cute girl, 14 years of age. She had auburn hair and seemed to be wearing a creeper hoodie. I scanned the clearing, looking carefully for signs of danger, but the only thing there was a cat with white and orange stripes.

"What's wrong?" I asked, walking towards her with my sword hanging loosely at my side.

"C-Cat!", she screamed. It became obvious very quickly that the cat was the source of her screams. I shooed the cat away, then offered my arms for comfort.

"Hey, its alright, the cat is gone. Its just us." I told her. She accepted my arms and just hugged me. After the shock finally wore off, she broke away from my embrace.

"T-thanks for saving my life." She uttered her soft gratitude. I did not really think that I saved her life, as it was just a cat, but I didn't want to sound like i was teasing her. I noticed, at that moment, that it was almost night time.

"Do you have a home," I asked.

She shook her head. "My family through me out when they found out that I was more human then creeper." She tried to say this calmly, but I could tell that this caused her a lot of anguish.

As we were walking home, I asked her what her name was.

"My name is Cupa, and you?"

"Chopper." It took us a while to make it home, as we had to dodge creepers, but we finally made it. We went inside and I offered the couch to Cupa.

"Goodnight, Chopper."

"Goodnight, Cupa."

So that sums up my first chapter. Likes dislikes, and problems with the story? please feel free to add it to the comments, as long as its not just out right offensive.
