SLIGHT AU! IN ORDER FOR THIS TO WORK, HAD TO GIVE THE CAHILLS A RUNNING LINE OF ADHD AND DYSLEXIA. SORRY!
CHAPTER 2
Cahill And Demigod
Amy Cahill was reading a nice book. A book about the Greek myths.
Suddenly, she heard a explosion.
"Oh my... DAN!" Within seconds, Dan Cahill was looking at Amy, playing innocent.
"Yes?" Amy threw a book at him. "Hey!" Amy smirked.
Amy looked at the cursive ink. She hoped it wasn't too important, and she went back to normal ink.
"Curse this dyslexia..." Suddenly, another explosion, but Dan was at the door to the library, about to throw the book at Amy.
"Huh?" he seemed to be confused.
More explosions. "Ian!? Jonah!?" Amy threw the book to the ground and started running.
She then saw it. A man had walked in the house, after blowing up the titanium door.
He was in a black velvet suit, that had a red cursive V on it. He had black gloves, black pants, and black business shoes. He had cinnamon skin, similar to Ian's, and yellow eyes. Golden yellow.
He turned and saw Amy, and snapped his fingers. He took out a wooden bow and arrow, and charged it, pointing at Amy.
Amy jumped, but was moving super slow. As if, time was slowed down. The man turned, and seemed to see a group of teens.
The man lowered his bow, and Amy sped up. He turned with a whistle in the air, and he went like a hologram, and vanished, a boy her age, swiping a bronze sword.
Dan looked at the sword. Amy was on the ground, trying to understand what was happening. The boy with the sword looked around, tryig to see the man.
A girl Amy's age walked in. "Hello... I am Annabeth Chase. You?" Amy gulped, and managed to work a quiet,
"Amy..." Annabeth turned around to face the boy. Mumbling, she said. "Percy..." The boy, Percy to Amy' guess, said, "Hey! Not my fault! He seemed to be... No..." Annabeth turned, and Percy told her something in quiet. Dan spoke, for the first time in this conversation. "Nice sword..." Both Amy and Annabeth gave him a, Shut-up kind-of look. Dan didn't get the message.
"Amy... May I talk to you in private." The two went into the library.
"Well... How do I explain this?" Annabeth said.
"Well, that boy who tried to kill that guy, his name is Percy. Percy Jackson.
"We're both demigods, and so are you and... your brother's name is..."
"Dan. Dan Cahill... But what's a demigod?"
Annabeth gave Amy the run-down. "Got any idea who you might be the child of?"
Amy shook her head.
"Hmm... Well... we need to get you to Camp Half-Blood... Right away!" Amy hestitaed, but agreed.
Passing by, they saw Dan and Percy talking, Dan asking too many questions about the Greek world, but Percy seemed okay.
Away from the two, Amy said;
"We're in a world of trouble though, no doubt about it..."
