Bella awoke alone in Quil's bed. She rolled over and grabbed her phone from the bedside table, she had 2 messages, Bella smiled as she flicked through them.

Hey beautiful girl,

sorry I wasn't there when you woke up, miss you like crazy

Bella chuckled and rolled her eyes as she scrolled to the second message.

Hey Bells,

Look I need you to trust me more than anything,

I've gotta start working with Sam this week, but it's not what you think...

I won't be able to see you for a couple days, but I promise to call every night and trust that I will see you as soon as I can.

Bella sucked in a breath when she read the last message, Sam, of all people, why would Quil work with Sam!. He asked me to trust him, fine, but if she doesn't hear from him tonight then she was so done, stupid Sam. Bella huffed as she climbed out of bed and got dressed for the day, although she couldn't help but grab Quil's hoodie and put it on, smiling as she remembered the night before.

Bella finished tidying up downstairs just as Rebecca Ateara walked through the front door. "Good morning Bella, sorry we came home a bit earlier then planned, your dad had to get back to the station earlier then planned, I let him know that you might be staying tonight, only if you wish" she smiled at Bella. Bella smiled and gave Rebecca a hug "Morning Rebecca, thanks but I don't know if I will tonight, Quil has started working with Sam" she muttered out.

Rebecca nodded and gave Bella a soft smile, Rebecca knew about the pack, as she was on the tribal council, obviously while she was gone her son had phased, poor Bella, she wondered how long it would take Quil to tell her the tribal secrets, Rebecca let out a soft chuckle at that thought. Rebecca loved Bella and saw this as an opportunity to bond.

"Bella I know I may not be as fun as Quil, but what do you say to staying the night and you and me having a girls night? Some movies and pizza, no boys". Bella smiled and nodded "I'd actually really love that, are you sure I'm not spoiling any of your plans?".

"Bella trust me, this is the perfect evening for me, usually if Quil was here, I would be reduced to the fast and furious saga" she chuckled and rolled her eyes. Bella laughed, of course, she knew how much Quil loved Vin Diesel. The thought of Quil made Bella sad, but she was going to be optimistic, she trusted Quil, she just hoped he wouldn't let her down.

"Ok how about we go to the diner for breakfast, my treat, oh and Bella just call me Bec" Rebecca smiled softly at Bella as she tugged her out the front door. They made their way to the Diner and sat down at a booth. They easily slipped into a conversation full of laughter, mainly about Quil. They ordered their breakfast as they made plans for the night ahead.

"So it's decided tonight's movie is fifty shades of grey" Bec wiggled her eyebrows and laughed as Bella chuckled shaking her head. Bella had seen that look before and smiled as she thought of Quil. "You and Quil spend way to much time together" Bella chuckled, Bec smiled and patted her hand "Honey you have no idea". They ate their breakfast as they continued with there small talk.

"Bella, would you mind if I invited Sue over tonight? she has been a bit lonely since Harry died"?.

"Of course that sounds fun".

The girls headed back to the rez and called into the local shop to get supplies for the night ahead.

"Ok so we have popcorn, fairy floss, soft drinks and lollies, I think that's enough for our sugar-induced coma" Bec laughed as they loaded up the checkout. They bumped into Sue on there way out to the car.

"Ah.. just the lady I was looking for, clear your schedule woman, your coming to mine tonight with Miss Bella and we are watching dirty movies, eating pizza and rotting our teeth". Bec beamed at Sue who chuckled and agreed to meet them at the house at 6 pm. Bec and Bella made there way back to the house and unpacked there shopping.

"It's a beautiful day how about we head down to the beach, go for a dip and tan ourselves some, interested?". Bella jumped up and headed upstairs and quickly changed into her swimsuit. Bec quickly packed a picnic basket with some towels, cans of soda and some snacks. The girls headed down the beach, laid their towels down and laid in the sun.

QUIL POV:

I quickly sent Bella 2 messages in the morning, praying to god she wouldn't hate me. This had to be the worst timing in the world to phase into a giant wolf, the wolf part was actually pretty cool, but having to stay away from Bella sucked more than anything, especially having to lie to her about why he couldn't see her.

"Sam, when can I see Bella? she is going to kill me if it's not soon".

"Quil I know, but we have to think of Bella's safety, you will come and train some more in the woods and we will see how you go tonight, maybe tomorrow but no promises Quil".

Quil nodded, it was better than nothing he supposed. Training hadn't been too bad, Sam taught Quil the layout of the forest, showed him the perimeters and the border of La Push. He explained to him how they dismembered vampires and everything else vampire related. The pack also tried to teach Quil how to keep certain intimate thoughts to himself, which wasn't as easy as Quil thought, causing Paul and Embry to get a pretty good play by play of Bella and his night together.

On the upside Quil was happy to have Embry back, he had missed him more than he liked to admit. Sam had purposely kept Jacob away from Quil until he could control his thoughts of Bella a bit more, Quil was relieved for that, he wanted to talk to Jacob before he got a play by play of them together.

After training in the woods the pack headed to the beach to cliff dive. As they approached the beach the pack stopped as they spotted Bella and Quil's mum, laying on the beach sun tanning. Quil couldn't take his eyes off Bella, she was so beautiful and so close, it killed him not to be able to go to her, to talk to her, to touch her. Sam rested his arm on his shoulder "Quil I'm sorry, but it's for her safety" Sam muttered out.

Quil nodded and walked away slowly, he hid out of view but stayed within reach so he could listen to her beautiful voice.

Seth ran over to Quil and the pack "Dude are you aware that your mum, my mum, and Bella are having a girls night tonight, there having pizza and watching fifty shades of grey" Seth forced out the last words with disgust.

Embry patted Quil's shoulder laughing "Oh dude it so suck's to be you, just think the smuttiest movie you could imagine and then your girl, sleeping in your bed, all alone, talk about bad timing dude" Embry chuckled out.

Quil punched him in the arm as he growled at him "Fuck off Embry, it's bad enough I had to leave her last night, let alone knowing she's watching fucking Christian Grey, ugh fuck me".

Paul laughed at Quil's pain "Dude I don't give a fuck, we are so hanging around your house tonight, I wanna see what they get up to". Sam rolled his eyes at Paul and pushed him "Go easy on him Paul".

"Fuck me this is gonna be a long fucking night" Quil grumbled.

If only he knew...
