Charlie and Renee were crushed. They called the police station that Charlie worked at and filled for a missing person. They searched everywhere they could and even notified all the police stations in the country. After awhile Renee couldn't deal with it anymore and needed a change and to get out of Forks. She took Bella and moved all the way to Phoenix, Arizona. To say Charlie was sad was an understatement. He was devastated at the fact that he lost his whole family. He didn't know what to do so he threw himself into work. He would sometimes try to look for Lizzie but the case wasn't his because it was personal. Renee decided not to tell Bella and convinced Charlie to keep it from her to. Renee took all of Elizabeth's items and put them in the attic of her new house in Arizona. Bella would visit her dad during the summer until she was around 14. Then she stopped going to Forks. That was until she decided to move back for her junior and senior year of high school.

Bella was on the plane on her way to Forks, Washington dreading landing in the cloudy state. Don't get me wrong she missed her dad, it's just that like Renee she hates Forks. Bella really hoped that Charlie didn't come in his police cruiser. He got promoted to Chief of Police awhile ago. When Bella got off the plane she looked around the small airport for her dad. She found him (much to her disappointment with the police cruiser) and they quickly loaded everything into the truck before getting in.
"Your hair's longer" Charlie said trying to start a conversation with his daughter. "I cut it since last time I saw you" Bella replied. "I guess it grew a lot again" That was the start of an awkward silence. Well, awkward for Bella. Charlie was deep in thought thinking about how much he missed Bella and how he was always worrying about her. He was also thinking about Lizzie. He was thinking the same things he always thought about her. He was thinking of things like "was she shy like Bella or confident?" "Was she clumsy or poised?" "Did she still look like Bella or did she grow up different?" He was also thinking his main thought about her, "Was she still alive?"

"I cleared some shelves up in the bathroom" Charlie stated as they pulled up to the house. Charlie and Bella made their way upstairs to place Bella's items in her room. As Bella walked into her room she took a look around. The walls were painted a lavender color and the room had a desk added to it. Most of the things in the room like the bedding, the curtains, the desk chair and, the rug were purple .It would seem the whole room was purple, that is until you look closer. Then you can see the hints of icy blue in the room like the design on the bedding, the lamp on the desk, the picture frames that held memories of Bella's childhood and, on the accent wall. It was almost as if icy blue once took up half of this room until it started fading out to nothing but a presence there. Of course, this was the one thing Bella didn't notice.

Bella went outside to find a beat up orange truck. "Bella you remember Billy Black" Charlie asked pointing to a man in a wheelchair even though it sounded more of a statement. "Glad you're finally here, Charlie hasn't shut up about it since you told him you were coming" Billy said. "Keep exaggerating, I'll wheel you down the hill" Charlie threatened playfully."Right after I ram you in the ankles" Billy shot back before he rolled his wheelchair towards Charlie who dodged the rolls. A teenage boy that Bella faintly remembers shook his head at the two old me and walked over to her.
"I'm Jacob. We made mud pies together when we were little kids."
"Yeah... I think I remember.." Bella replied.
"Are they always like this?" Bella asked looking at the two men still fighting with each other.
"It's getting worse with old age" was Jake's reply.
"So what do you think of your homecoming gift?" Charlie asked patting the hood of the truck. "No way. The truck is for me?" Bella exclaimed. "Just bought it off Billy, here." Charlie replied. "I rebuilt the engine and-" "It's perfect" Bella said cutting Jacob off. Bella rushed into her new truck and Jake eagerly joined her seeing as he has had a crush on her even since they were little. "Okay, so you gotta double pump the clutch when you shift, but-"he says as he hands her the keys. "Maybe I can give you a ride to school" Bella offered. "I go to school on the reservation" Jacob said remorsefully. "Too bad" Bella said sadly. "Would've been nice to know at least one person.

Bella went to school the next day in the truck her dad got her. Her day was okay until she got to lunch.
"Who are they?" Bella asked. "The Cullen's" Angela replied. "Doctor and Mrs. Cullen's foster kids, they all moved down here from Alaska two years ago." Jessica continued swinging into gossip mode. "They kinda keep to themselves" Angela commented. "Because they're all together. Like, together together the blonde girl, Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett they're a thing. I'm not even sure that's legal" Jessica said. "Jess, they're not actually related" Angela stated. "But they live together, and the little dark haired girl, Alice, she's really weird, she's with Jasper, the blonde who looks like he's in pain, I mean, Dr. Cullen's like this foster dad slash match maker." "Maybe he'll adopt me" Angela said. "Who's he" Bella questioned looking at the last one to enter. "That's Edward Cullen." After Jessica said that Edward looked over there way as if he could hear what they were saying . "He's totally gorgeous, obviously, but apparently, no one here is good enough for him. Like I care" Jessica said in a tone that sounded like she obviously cared. "Anyway, don't waste your time" she said right after. "I wasn't planning on it" was Bella's reply even though she still glanced at Edward.
And that was the start of Bella and Edward's love story…
Author's Note: Hey guys! I know there wasn't an Elizabeth in this chapter and I know that it was pretty short but that's because as of right now in having Lizzie and Bella meet in New Moon so I'm just skipping over twilight.
